Everything falls together into place after their series, The Secret of Us, was done filming. She tried to conceal it at first, even vehemently denying and lying to herself. Although she believes herself to be a reserve person, she can't help but weather heart to her sleeves when it comes to her Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong. Luckily, the younger woman feels the same, resulting in a three-year secret relationship, blurring the line between reels and reality, contenting themselves with simple touches and hugs whenever in public, and an intimate passion with each other in the privacy of their shared apartment.

They're on top of their careers now. Orm, after getting her master's degree, divided her attention into handling parts of their family business and acting, while on the other hand, she started investing her earnings into infrastructure and business ventures. They're a busy couple but always find time with each other, regardless of the circumstances. Orm with her carefree and uplifting spirit matches Ling's cool demeanor so well that after the construction of Ling's house in Thonglor, they started to talk about marriage.

It was just a simple Sunday night for the couple. Orm just finished cooking Ling's comfort food after a stressful meeting with the agency in regards to her contract, and they find themselves lazing in their spacious living room. Ling was reading a book, sitting and leaning against the cushion at her back while Orm was lying, her head resting on her girlfriend's leg, watching a documentary about the wildfires of Africa.

"It must be nice to be reborn as a Gibbons with you," Orm said absentmindedly, almost in a shy whisper, and Ling turned to her, a curious look on her face.

"And why is that? "

Orm pouted at the screen where a paired Gibbons perform 'duets', a series of vocal cries that combine their individual mating calls into a single song that becomes intrinsic to their relationship. The calming voice of the narrator explained how Gibbons, an animal who only has one mate for life, would perform these loud, long, and well-coordinated duets during intimate moments, and a female Gibbons would perform this song when the pairs are separated from each other, keeping the song going to prevent their partner from straying too far from home.
