Orm sighed as she looked at her dog, Uni.
The Pomeranian has a strong-willed personality for a dog. Uni is usually affectionate, playful, and full of life. Excessively energetic, Her dog loves to play with her, but in the past few weeks, the lively Uni she was used to has been slowly changing. Her overly excited dog was now slowly getting lethargic. This one did nothing but hide on the side or just sleep. She tried to walk around with her, but Uni simply won't budge from the corner where she is just lying down.
Orm is worried. What's worse is that Uni stopped eating. The change in her appetite was gradual; she thought perhaps she had just grown tired of her dog food or that something was wrong. But when she noticed in the days prior that even the water was hardly going down, Orm started to panic. Even though her heart was heavy and she felt sad, despite having no energy and just wanting to sleep. Without a second thought, she took Uni to the vet.
The Veterinarian, Dr. Dew conducts a physical examination with Uni after asking her a few questions. She saw the kind veterinarian listening to Uni's lungs and heart, checking Uni's stance, gait, and weight, examining her dog's fur, teeth, and eyes for any signs of excessive tearing or any differences, and verifying if Uni's vaccines were up to date, which they are.
"Hmm..I checked the result, and Uni is definitely not sick." Dr. Dew stated, and Orm couldn't help but sigh in relief as she pulled Uni in for a hug, bringing her closer.
"If that is the case, Doc Why isn't Uni eating? She doesn't have any interest in doing activities she usually loves." Orm asked, although her fear that Uni might be sick has disappeared, still the fact that her dog is not eating remains the same.
The Doctor looked at Uni and she saw the Pom licking its feet. "Do you know what she's doing?" Dr. Dew asked the dog's owner and Orm shrugged, well, it's obvious that Uni is licking her feet, which happens that she's doing frequently the past weeks.
