"This is the fourth time this has happened, Tawan." Fahlada said, her teeth gritting in anger as she whispered furiously at her phone. She was in a corner of the hospital, looking around to make sure no one could hear her. "What happened this time?"
They were born seven minutes apart in this world. They grew up together and treat each other as best friends even now; it's always them against the whole world, especially since their parents are both busy. They've experienced a lot of things together: first crush, first love, heartbreak—almost everything. They became each other's support in a harsh world.
They grew up in the same environment, with both having absentee parents, yet people still wonder how different they are from each other. Tawan always believes that if things don't end well, violence will follow. Her twin grew up angry with the harsh reality and would spend a lot of time in the gym; boxing and martial arts became her hobbies, and that's where her twin channeled her anger. She is proud of Tawan because after high school, her twin pursued a military career, retired after several deployments, and built a protection services company from scratch that mostly deals with A-list celebrities and high-ranking politicians.
She, on the other hand, enjoys peace and tranquility. Perhaps she grew up always treating her younger sibling's scrapes, wounds, and sometimes even broken bones, which led her to love and dream of becoming a doctor, a path she pursued and became her profession.
Although contrasting in nature, they are almost similar in behavior. They are both reserved, no-nonsense people who value time and quality, and they are quiet. An introvert who prefers to spend time in a silent place, reading a book and relaxing. They also have the same taste in girls, which they find funny, but luckily, they haven't fought over a girl yet. Lada married the love of her life first, Earn Sanithada, while Tawan was in a sort of a situationship with her VIP client, a very famous idol, Ira, who coincidentally worked for the same company as her wife.
"He touched Ira, Phi!" Lada's younger twin replied, her voice filled with equal anger on the other end of the phone. And it is rare for Tawan to be this upset. Usually, the bodyguard is calm and collected for people to see, but the real Tawan comes out when talking to her older sibling, maybe because they are so comfortable and know each other well.
Lada sighed and gritted her teeth. She knew her sister so well because they are alike. She doesn't want anyone else touching her Wife, so she understands Tawan very well, but again, she's the eldest, so in some way, she should guide her sibling.
"Is N'Ira okay?" She asked to calm herself and her twin. She had met the young idol when her twin happened to drop off some clothes for her after she forgot to bring some for her 48-hour shift, and the sweet idol caused a bit of a stir in the hospital, which further annoyed Tawan, who had explicitly told the idol to stay inside the car. Lada couldn't help but notice a different kind of worry in her sister's eyes, and when she later teased Tawan about it, she saw her twin blushing like never before.
"Yes." Tawan answered, "But that stupid stalker attempted to grab Ira in her butt."
"What?!" Lada exclaimed. And she noticed that some of the passing nurses glanced at her, confused as to why the usually calm and collected doctor was reacting that way.
"You shouldn't have treated that piece of shit anymore."
Lada couldn't help but laugh at what her sibling said. She spent hours setting the broken bones of that man because not only was his arm fractured, but also his knee. She agreed with her twins, but she has the Hippocratic oath to uphold.
