It's...an eventful day.
My Cherrie Amour, her new series where she played a supporting role was already on air and as stipulated on their contract, she needs to do promotions with her co stars. Her day today is occupied with promotions and they started early at 8AM for the morning show. They only have a brief rest for two hours before shooting promotional videos and filming interview.
It was fun. She was able to see her co-stars in a different perspective and she was grateful for how they took care of her. Although she's been here for years and has learned the language, there will always be times when she struggles to express what she wants to convey. Yaya, the main star of the series, was kind enough to talk to her in English and sometimes explain the terms she didn't understand, but Ling knew that there was a gaping hole in that day.
It's the first time he won't be with Orm in a day of promotions, filming advertisements, and shooting magazines. First time in a long while that the young woman is not by his side. Ling is a confident person. She really is. She's independent and knows her ways with things. She was even courageous enough to send herself to South Korea as an exchange student for a semester but today, she realized how dependent she is with Orm.
People always say that Orm is the one who often needs her support, but honestly, it's the other way around. Well, if you asked Orm about it, she's sure that the younger girl will agree. But really, it depends on the scenario. It's just that, on that day, she terribly misses her. Not a few times did she look at the space beside her where Orm usually was and seeing an empty space there made her uncontrollably sad. Maybe it's just muscle memory that she's reaching for Orm's hand, only to get slapped back into reality that he's not here today and she's not promoting The Secret Of Us. What's worse is that she find herself leaning against Yaya because that's what she usually does when she's with Orm. It's embarrassing and she apologizes to Yaya several times only for the latter to tease her about it.
"You really misses her, huh?" Her co star said and Lingling could only nodded in agreement.
She went home that night with thoughts filled with a certain ambered eye girl.
"Hey, I miss you today.."
That was the first thing Ling said in her video call with Orm, and the latter snapped her head up and broke into a wide, happy smile upon seeing the pouty face of Lingling Kwong and hearing what she said. Orm saw that Ling was already lying down and was wearing her simple white t-shirt.
"Really. It's been a day and you already miss me?" She asked as if she had done nothing all day but lurk on Twitter and repeatedly watch the clips of the older one doing her individual promotion. Ling looks handsome always but that day, she really looked extra handsome.
