CatNap's POV:

I slowly start to emerge as the mini Smiling Critters make an incessant noise. I open my eyes with difficulty and try to remember how I got here. I was in my room at Home Sweet Home yesterday...

I sigh and sit up slightly, but I realize that a weight is resting on my abdomen. Looking over, I see a human sleeping on top of me. Seriously!? That's when I remember that she and DogDay brought me back here. How could I have let this happen? I sit up suddenly, mixed with disgust and irritation. Physical contact has bothered me for years. I then notice that the human is awake but seems as confused as I am.

She says, completely lost : "What am I doing here? DogDay must have left me, but why?"

I answer her in annoyance: "I wonder that too, you filthy human. You brought me back here, but as soon as I can, I'll make sure you leave the factory."

She laughs lightly and replies, "You know, no matter how much you say that, I'm not leaving until you're better."

Exasperated, I yell, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING! I'M FINE!"

She tackles me to the ground, surprising me, and whispers in my ear, "But of course, you don't even remember that you were completely unconscious when I said my name."

Furious, I try to struggle and yell, "LET ME GO-"

She sighs in defeat and says, "Honestly, what am I going to do with you? It's incredible how much you've changed."

Really angry, I snap back, "What do you know about me? You’ve never been here, so don’t talk to me like you know me!”

I groan in annoyance, but she still smiles at me, holding me down. Damn, she’s supposed to be hurt, so how can she hold me like that? I hear her sigh and then feel her slowly loosen her grip. I try to react quickly to attack her, but she immediately tightens it. A groan of pain escapes my lips as I grit my teeth.

Why am I so weak? I suddenly realize that she is checking to see if I am injured. What is wrong with her? She blocks all movement, but as soon as she hurts me, she releases. It doesn't make sense... I really should pretend to be injured. I find it strange that someone is worried about me. I shake my head to chase away the thought, but her voice interrupts my thoughts.

With concern and regret, she asks: "Are you okay, CatNap? I didn't hurt you, did I?"

I sigh in annoyance and answer curtly: "No, I'm fine. I'm not weak enough to be hurt by a human."

She answers with a slight embarrassed smile: "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, but you are quite unpredictable, so I had to react quickly to block you."

I watch her silently, trying to detect any sign of deception, but nothing... No sign that she is putting on an act. I'm puzzled but prefer not to ask questions. I get up and start walking towards the exit. I need some air; I've been wanting to get out of the factory to look at the stars for a while. Even though I'm a monster, I'm in tune with the cycle, so I can only sleep during the day and look at the real stars at night.

Y/N's POV:

I see him walking, lost in thought. Intrigued by his sudden behavior, I decide to follow him. He goes from angry to completely calm in no time, and he doesn't even notice that I'm next to him. We arrive in the middle of Playcare, and I see the others looking at me questioningly. I then use sign language from a distance, knowing that DogDay knows him. I signal to him that everything will be fine and that I'll stay with CatNap to make sure nothing happens to him.

DogDay tells me to be careful, which makes me smile. I tell him not to worry, because I know how to subdue him quickly. We walk in heavy silence until I recognize the way out. I sigh and decide to let him know I'm there by gently touching him.
