Kion's POV

The others and I enter the rather large bus for the field trip to the museum. I'm really excited. They found a special type of crystal said to contain some form of magical power. Bunga is eating his favourite snack, gummy worms.

Kion: Can I have some Bunga?

Bunga: Sure

Bunga gives me just one gummy worm.

Kion: Seriously, just one.

Bunga: You're ungrateful

I eat that gummy worm anyway.

Fuli: I wonder what that crystal is called

Ono: I did a lot of research about it. It’s called the Moniam rock. It is said to have contain magic hundreds of years ago and was used by 125 people, did I mention that the user had control of fire.

Beshte: It seems so cool, I would love to have Fire powers

Rani: Yeah, but I'm not sure they'll allow you to touch it.

Fuli: True

I notice Rani's pendant round her neck. It is a sky blue colour and incredibly beautiful. I can see Fuli noticed me staring at the pendant.

Fuli: That's a nice pendant, Rani.

Rani: Yes, thank you. My grandfather gave it to me before he passed.

Fuli: I'm so sorry

Rani: That's okay

Kion: My parents are gonna be at the museum today, I mean they are revealing the crystal today.

Fuli: Ayanna and Elewisa are going to be there, my mum is not into big reveals.

Bunga: My uncles are coming too

Beshte: So is my dad

Ono: My cousins are coming too

Rani: My uncle's coming, my aunt is pregnant so she can't come

It's like the entire Pridelands are going to see the reveal of the crystal. It is that popular. After waiting for forever, we finally drive off.

I'm feeling lazy so I don't want to write all about what happened on the way to the museum so .......

We finally get out of the bus. The museum is a very large and grey  building. There is also a fountain outside, much larger than the one we have in our garden. We are led inside by Rafiki's helper, Makini. She has pixie-cut blonde hair and blue eyes.

Makini: Okay, here are the rules for the trip. No one go anywhere without permission, don't touch anything, don't break anything, don't draw on anything. You can take notes if you like .

Ono: Yes

As usual, Ono brought what he calls 'Notebook Of Facts'. It’s a book he writes all the facts that he learns on any field trip he goes to.
We enter the room where a big red curtain is in the center, covering the crystal. I can see mum and dad and I approach them.

Kion: Mum, dad

Nala: Kion, hey, are you excited?

Kion: Yeah, a little

Simba: We're right here so if you need us to do anything, just come, Okay

Kion:'kay

I return and stand next to Rani, since the others are lost in the crowd. A short and chubby man made his way next to the cover gem.
