The Realist(Shoto Todoroki x reader- Bakugo's twin sister)

Chapter 12

(Happy Friday 13th)

"Those of you at the top will suffer the most. Of course, that's something you'll hear over and over again in UA." She tilted her head to the side with a grin. "Show us what 'Plus Ultra' means!"
She then pointed her whip in the crowd where Deku was.

I think she should really get rid of the whip, it makes her look like a temptress.

"Izuku Midoriya placed first in the first round. He'll be worth ten million!" She yelled with enthusiasm.

People looked back to glare at him, making the boy shiver and sweat in fear.

So I have 195 points, this will make me a target but not as big as Deku. I need a plan to win but also not get first place, just to pass to the next round.

"First years." Midnight raised her whip in the air. "These are the rules that you'll abide by. The game itself will last 15 minutes. Individuals point values will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much you're worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your teams score.

"Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. And another thing. Even if your headband gets stolen or your team falls down, you can keep playing until times up."

So, I need to find a partner or two, to win this. I can't ask Katsuki because he's mad at me and wants nothing more to beat me, at this time. Or all the time. Momo would be a good partner but would she cooperate? I think I know who I'm going to choose.

"This is going to be rough. You may use your quirks as much as you like. But there are still rules! Make a team fall in purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!" Midnight says happily as Katsuki scoffs.

"Now, you'll got 15 minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started."

People around me started to talk to one another, some people looking at me as if they wanted to talk to me, or looking at both me and Katsuki as if we were going to partner up to make a killer team.

"Give it your all." He looked down with a frown. "So I can beat you, and show that I'm better than everyone here." With that he walked away. Some people following him in pursuit.

I stood there in my spot with a little bit of anger, "Why does he have to be such an asshole?" I murmured under my breath as a crowd started to build around me.

The crowd contained some kids from my class with two other kids from class 1-B.

"Can we parter up?" "You did good in the first round without any effort that you could've easily took first place." "You have a powerful quirk." "Come on Bakugo, please."

I looked at the crowd with a slight smile but shook my head. "Sorry, but I already have someone in mind. Say, if they say no then I'll come back to you."

They let out a huff and hung their heads. Walking away I started to head to the one person that'll help us pass the round.

"Hey," The person turned around with a confused expression once they saw me.

"Uhh, hey Bakugo." They said nervously as they looked up at me.

"We should team up, we'd make a great team." I said nicely, holding out a hand. "So, what do you say? Asui?"
