In the distance a horn went off and a woman began to speak. "The first test will now begin."

As soon as the word was out, a bunch of 'heros' jumped out of their hiding spots and held onto the orange balls.

It was instant madness. Among the swarm, one figure stood out like a stain on a clean sheet- the fake boy with the black hair, cocky smirk plastered across his face.

"I saw you on TV," he called out, locking eyes with Deku. "That power of yours... it destroys your body, doesn't it?"

Without waiting for a response, the heroes launched their orange balls like missiles, arms snapping forward in near-perfect synchronicity.

The smug kid grinned wider.

"Well, I can't say I'm above taking advantage of that!"

Green lightning exploded across the twink boys body as he rocketed forward, wind screaming in his wake.

His body twisted mid-air, foot slamming into one of the incoming balls with a blinding flash. The kick generated a shockwave so strong it sent several orange spheres flying back at their senders.

Some screamed. Others dove. Most were too slow.

The battlefield turned into a storm of streaking light and concussive blasts.

My senses screamed.

The power within me flickered like a live wire.

With barely a thought, I launched upward, soaring above the chaos like a missile on its own path.

I wasn't alone for long.

A cluster of enemies zeroed in on me, eyes sharp, balls ready to fire. They didn't know I'd been planning for this.

While floating, I twisted mid-air, my hand flicking toward my belt. Click. Three orange spheres rolled into my palm.

I vanished in a blur of motion. Zipping through the sky like a phantom, the wind howling around me as I targeted a trio of teens gunning for Momo and Hagakure.

The orbs I launched scattered like shrapnel, each one striking with pinpoint accuracy, detonating in bursts of kinetic force.

Below me, another volley of enemy balls was incoming -fast and tight, like heat-seeking drones.

I dropped.

Let gravity take over. Arms wide. Eyes sharp.

As the sky whipped past me, a whistle sliced through the air- enemy spheres closing in.

At the last second, I clenched a small orb in my palm and whispered, "Now."

BOOM!

A blast of energy flared in my hand and launched me sideways, dodging the incoming assault by inches. My body spiraled through the air, smoke trailing behind me.

Mid-spin, I hurled a massive orb into the sky. It pulsed with energy, glowing brighter by the second like a miniature sun.

On the ground, panic spread. The enemies saw it- too late.

KA-THOOM!

The orb exploded mid-air in a brilliant flash, raining harmless but blinding light across the field.

Making orbs all over my body, I began to float down with ease. My arms extended as my remaining orbs rotated around me like satellites. Dust billowed outward. Silence held for a beat.

Everyone was distracted, so that's when I took the opportunity.

Grabbing some of the balls on the floor I began to throw them with some power from some orbs to speed them up.
