"We're almost there!" I yelled to the people in the back, all of them had scoff marks and dirt on them, hunching their backs as they walked slowly. Small moans echoed from the trees.
They were exhausted.
I had a couple of people sitting on floating orbs so they could rest. Like Mina, Iida, Uraraka and Kaminari. They were the most beat up of the bunch, and Mina just didn't want to walk.
They wouldn't be like this if they listened to me.
I was the only one who didn't look like I just ran a marathon, probably because I barely walked the whole time but that's beside the point. I took down most of the beast so I say I did something. Just was less tired.
While emerging out of the trees I spotted the teachers and little kid in front of a big building, the sun heading west for the day but the sky still shined blue.
Could be 3? I thought they said noon?
"You said it would only be, like, three hours!" Sero yelled from next to Kaminari floating body.
"I guess we timed it based on how long it'd take us. Sorry!" One of the cats said with an apologetic expression.
"Now you're braggin' about how much better you are?" One of my classmates wined. "That's so mean!"
I rolled my eyes and got off my orbs, putting a hand on my hip.
"I'm starving. This is hell." Kirishima moaned while siting on the ground, tilting his head back with a hand on his stomach.
"Meow, meow, meow, meow! I thought it would take you kids even longer. But, you did much better agains my dirt monsters than I thought you would. You guys were seriously great." The blonde cat lady said with a smile.
She then looked my way as I helped Iida down. "Especially the five of you!" She pointed with her paw. Me and Iida looked behind us to see Midoriya, Todoroki and Katsuki.
"It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience." She licked her lips. "I call dibs on these kittens! I'll groom them myself!" The woman yelled with her lips puckered and paws out.
She pounced in front of us and started to jump all around us, Midoriya started to make weird sounds as they all held up their arms to their face.
I stood there with my brows fused together. "How the fuck is she a mentor? She just said she's going to groom us. No wonder you live in the woods."
I looked back at the kid who glared at me. He had to be at least 9 or 8. I felt bad for him, that he had to be stuck with this groomer.
The boys kept yelling things for her to stop while I watched with a bit of amusement and worry.
She was about to touch Katsuki with her claws when I zipped in front of her, my hand catching her wrist as I glared into her eyes. My bracelet beeped red three times while my eyes darkened. "Calm down!" It yelled.
̷"̷K̷e̷e̷p ̷y̷o̷u̷r/p̷a̷w̷s̷/o̷f̷f ̷m̷y ̷b̷r̷o̷t̷h̷e̷r̷." I growled at her.
She stepped back, taking her paw away and smirked. "Ooo~ this kitty has claws." She then made a paw motion cats do.
