We stood there on the roof, staring at each other with a whirlwind of mixed emotions. Not just confusion or fear- there was something deeper. Something heavier.

Maybe it was because there were people inside us. People who had once loved each other. Or fought. Or kissed like the world was ending. Or died in each other's arms.

Whatever it was... they were here now.

And they had unfinished business.

My lips parted, but no words came out.

All I could think about was that dream I had a couple weeks ago- the one that lingered too long in my chest like a bruise. The one that didn't feel like a dream.

My hand drifted up to the collar of my gym uniform, fingers brushing lightly over my neck. The skin was mostly healed, but I could still feel the ghost of it- those bruises. Hickeys. The marks he made.

Had he seen it too? Was that why it felt so damn real?

I looked up, heart skipping when I realized Todoroki was already staring at me.

His gaze wasn't sharp like usual. It was soft. Gentle, almost. His mismatched eyes searched my face, and his white-red hair caught the breeze just enough to fall across his cheek.

For a moment- just a second- I was back in that dream. Back under him. Back with his hands on my hips and his voice low against my neck.

My eyes widened.

I looked away.

"Shit," I muttered under my breath, running a hand through my hair. What the hell was happening to us?

I turned back to him with a scowl I didn't mean. "Come on," I said, already walking toward the roof door.

He hesitated for half a second before falling into step behind me.

Neither of us said anything as we made our way down the stairs. The weight of what we'd just seen- what we'd remembered- clung to us like humidity. Thick and suffocating.

I led us to UA's nurse's office with single-minded purpose.

If we were both experiencing this- and if it was connected- then maybe... just maybe... I could finally get some answers. Maybe I could finally find out what the hell was happening to me.

To us.

The sterile scent of the nurse's office hit first- antiseptic and something sweet underneath. Recovery Girl looked up from her desk, startled to see both of us walk in without knocking.

Or just seeing me come back to her office for the second time today.

Behind her, Aizawa leaned against the far wall, arms crossed, his tired gaze narrowing the second he saw me. Knowing that I would come back.

"Back again, Bakugo?" he asked, already suspicious.

Nezu was there too- perched on the small cushioned chair in the corner with a mug of tea, watching us over the rim like a cat who already knew what mouse was about to run.

"I need to talk to all of you," I said, barely managing to keep my voice even.

Aizawa pushed off the wall. "What happened?"

I looked at Todoroki. He nodded silently, still a bit confused.

"We saw something," I said. "Not a dream. A memory."

Recovery Girl rose slowly from her chair, sensing the tension. "Both of you?"

"Yes," Todoroki said, stepping closer to me. "It was the same vision."
