As November passed, bringing the crisp chill of winter, everything seemed to fall into place for Jiwon. The first mock exams were behind them, yet it felt like just yesterday when the school year had begun. The days, which once felt like fleeting moments, now carried a warmth that lingered even in the cold.

Jake, who had once been distant and elusive, was slowly opening up to her. Their interactions grew more frequent and familiar, with Jay and Eugene often tagging along. These moments spent together made Jiwon feel truly happy, a contentment she hadn't known before. She cherished the growing bond with Jake, and with each passing day, her wish for the next five months was simple: for this newfound closeness, this unexpected friendship, to continue just as lovingly as it was now.

As Jiwon wrapped up her things after the last mock exam, Eugene waited outside with Jake and Jay, growing impatient. "What's taking her so long? She said she'd be right back," Eugene mumbled.
