Chapter 24: The Clean-Up

I really need this after that update with PERFIDY... god that was so stressful to write...

Their week had been busy in finalizing the deed of sale for the farm and cleaning it, removing all the wild grass that grew in it. The strawberry house was the first one they have completed in cleaning. Jin helped Jungkook most of the time and Yoongi thought he was helping but after removing ten or eleven wild grasses, he's already tired and will fall asleep at the nipa hut.

It was a week worth of work. Everyday, Jin and Jungkook will come home starving and tired. Still, Jin makes it a habit to always prepare food for them, even just an easy to cook food.

"I'm sorry if everything is tiring so far." Jungkook said kissing Jin's temple as they were on the bed.

Jin smiled at him as he touched his right cheek with his left hand.

"It is fun. It is a lot of work but I'm sure that we'll survive. Your workers are also fun to be with. I am learning a lot from them with farming." Jin said.

Jungkook held Jin's hand and he saw some scratches and callouses forming because of the work.

"I should just leave you and Yoongi here." He said kissing Jin's palms.

"Why? Am I not attractive anymore if I will have callouses by helping my boyfriend?" Jin asked.

Jungkook hovered over him then gave him a kiss. "You will be the most attractive person for me no matter how many callouses you get." He said while peppering Jin with a lot of kisses and the latter just kept on giggling.

Jin immediately pushed him when their door suddenly opened.

"Are you playing?" Yoongi asked as he barged in inside their room.

Jin supported himself with his elbow as he looked at the boy who entered their room. Jungkook was laughing at Jin's panick look at his face.

"I want to play, too." Yoongi said as he walked towards their bed and tried to crawl up.

Seeing his struggle, Jungkook carried his son up to the bed so that the boy can stay with them.

"We're not playing, little man. We're just talking about some... yeah... some jokes!" Jin said.

Jungkook rolled his eyes with the dumb excuse given by Jin.

Jin's eyes widened at him as if telling him "then give me good fucking reason".

"Oh, okay. Can I sleep here?" Yoongi asked.

"Sure, baby." Jin said.

"No, you're a big boy." Jungkook said.

Jin and Jungkook said at the same time. Yoongi was looking at them trying to know who to follow.

"You can sleep here tonight." Jin said again but Jungkook just got quiet.

"Are you sure, Jinnie? Daddy seems to not like it." Yoongi said looking at his father.

"Of course he likes you here, right, Kook?" Jin asked and pinched Jungkook's arm.

"Aww!" Jungkook said and looked at Jin's widened eyes. "O-of course, baby, you should stay with us tonight. But tonight only. Tomorrow you should stay in your room." Jungkook said.
