Jin woke up to get some water as he was thirsty. He went to the kitchen and heard some sound outside.
Hobi left few hours ago when Taehyung came back to fetch him. He was surprised to not see Jungkook with Taehyung but Hobi said he must have stayed at the small house.
He decided to check where the noise was coming from but was surprised to see a girl about to leave the small house while leaving a quick kiss at Jungkook's lips. He tried not to be seen but it was already too late because Jungkook already looked at him.
Jin's eyes widened and immediately went back to the kitchen.
"Who was that?" The girl asked Jungkook.
"He's Jimin's friend. You can stay here for the night, Jennie. I don't think I can take you home." Jungkook said.
"Don't bother. I already called a cab." Jennie said.
"O--okay. I'll see you some other night."
"You should." She said, tracing her fingers on his chest. "You are missing in giving me those nights and I start to wonder if I'm not the exciting enough for you anymore." She added.
Jungkook pulled her hand away from him. "I told you, Yoongi is not fond of me bringing you home. I am not sure why you had to follow me here when you could have drank more beer at the bar."
Jennie pouted at him. "I thought we are building something here." She said.
"Jennie, I can't right now. I can't give you enough time as I need to focus on Yoongi. We can continue being friends but I can't be intimate with you anymore. Please stop initiating anything as I don't want Yoongi to think something else." Jungkook said.
"Whatever." Jennie said angrily and opened the door of the cab waiting for her.
"I'm sorry, Jennie. I'll see you again at the bar." Jungkook said as he leaned on the window but Jennie did not pay attention to him anymore.
Jungkook saw that the kitchen light of Park's mansion is still on so he decided to check on Jin.
"Hey." He said upon seeing Jin.
"Hi." Jin answered as he drank his water, unable to look at Jungkook.
"It's already late, why are you still up?" Jungkook asked as he went near Jin. He looked at the man and thought that the man looks cute in his blue pajamas.
"I was thirsty." Jin said as he gulped more.
"I see. Uhm... Jin..."
"Y-yeah?" Jin looked at him.
"What you saw was nothing. She was just drunk."
Jin was taken back. He is not sure why Jungkook had to explain.
"I see. Don't worry, I won't tell Yoongi." Jin said, thinking that it was because of his son.
"T-Thank you. How was he?" Jungkook asked.
"Sleeps like a baby. Do you usually leaves him on nights like this?" Jin asked curiously.
"Not really. It's Taehyung and Hobi who insists that I give myself rest from things before I get tired of just working and taking care of my son." Jungkook said as he sat in front of Jin. "When I lost Yoongi's mother, I thought the world would crumble on me. I literally stopped functioning for a day but I remember that I still had to take care of my son.
Jimin, Hobi and Taehyung helped me in anyway they can. The small house over there was Jimin's gift to me and Yoongi but his parents also loved Yoongi that is why they also made a room for him here.
Even though, I know that things are not permanent and the Parks will eventually come back here to claim their house. That is why I still work for Yoongi and me. Probably a house is the next thing I should work on." Jungkook said.
"I see. If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me more about Yoongi's eomma? What happened to her?"
"She died giving birth to Yoongi." Jungkook said sadly and looked at the water bottle nearby.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Jin said empathetically.
"It was years ago anyway. A lot of things have changed and I think I am doing a good job in raising my son so far." Jungkook said.
"You are." Jin said even seeing them just for a day. "And is that your girlfriend?" Jin asked referring to Jennie.
"Oh, Jennie? No. W-we... h-hang out." Jungkook said which Jin understood right away.
"I see. You are young. You can do whatever you want anyway." Jin said but deep inside he hated it. Maybe Jungkook is into girls and not boys, or even older men.
"How about you? Why are you here?" Jungkook asked.
"I just divorced my cheating husband." Jin asked with a chuckle.
"Why would anyone cheat on someone as gorgeous as you?" Jungkook suddenly said.
Jin's eyes suddenly widened upon hearing that and he blushed instantly.
Jungkook realized what he just said and cleared his throat. "I mean... y-you are not bad." He said looking away from Jin.
Jin smiled at him. "You think I'm gorgeous?"
"W--well, y-you are." Jungkook said stuttering.
Jin just smiled at him.
"It's getting late. You should sleep more." Jungkook suddenly said as he stood up from his chair in panic. "By the way, it's Saturday tomorrow and I don't have work at the farm, we can go somewhere you want. Me and Yoongi can accompany you." Jungkook said not able to look at Jin.
"That will be nice. I plan on visiting some store tomorrow and probably bake something for Hobi and Taehyung."
Jungkook pouted. "How about for me?" He said which Jin found so adorable. He is like a pouty child with a baby.
Jin chuckled at him. "Of course I will start baking for you and Yoongi everyday." He said.
Jungkook smiled at him. "Thank you, Jin." He said. "I will have to go now and check on Yoongi. Goodnight, Jin." Jungkook said before leaving.
Jin looked at his retreating back and smiled at himself like a teenager feeling butterflies in his stomach. "He thinks I'm gorgeous." He said to himself and smiled biting his lip.
