Chapter 30: The Preparation

It's just a day before Jungkook's birthday and Jin is very excited to surprise Jungkook. He had his flight very early in the morning. He scheduled it to make sure that Jungkook will not suspect when he wakes up and they can still do video call.

Jimin and Namjoon also came with Jin, with the approval of Jimin's doctor. His parents will also be there late in the afternoon and Namjoon will pick them up.

"Are you excited?" Jimin asked him while rubbing his growing stomach.

"I am. He will be surprised!" Jin said.

"You are an angel, Jin." Jimin said to him, thinking about everything Jungkook went through and how Jin helped him and tried to understand him.

"Jimin, both he and Yoongi were the reason why I survived the hardest days of my life. Without them, I must have gone insane. I know that I might have shown my strong side althroughout the battle with Mingyu, but I was never strong.

Still, Jungkook and Yoongi became my angels. They carried me and made my problems feel lighter. I will never ask anyone else to be with me in those situations. I am perfectly happy with the two of them." Jin said as he held Jimin's hand.

"You both are lucky! I swear! Who would have thought that you and him are actually meant to be? I mean I grew up with him while you became my bestfriend in Seoul!"

"I know where you're going." Jin said rolling his eyes. "You wanted me to thank you for being our cupid." He said.

"Exactly that!" Jimin answered.

Both just laughed at it, while Namjoon was asleep in his own space.

Jungkook was sulking the whole day since Jin did not message him after their call earlier.

"Daddy, why are you sad?" Yoongi asked as he sat with Jungkook on the couch.

Jungkook agreed with Jin that he won't work today in the form because Jin promised to spend more time with him, even just through video call since it's his birthday. He sent a message to Jin 2 hrs ago, asking him if he can call him but the man is still not responding.

"Your appa Jinnie is not responding yet." Jungkook said.

Yoongi just looked at him while chewing the snacks he got.

"Should we call him?" Yoongi asked.

"I don't want to disturb him if he is still at work." Jungkook said.

Yoongi nodded as if understanding everything that Jungkook said but he is just seriously enjoying his snacks. He then focused on the television while Jungkook was just looking at his phone.

When his phone rang, he immediately answered it, thinking that it was Jin, without looking at the caller id.

"That was fast." Hobi said on the other line.

Jungkook removed the phone from his ear and looked at the caller Id. He was disappointed upon realizing it was Hobi instead of Jin but entertained him anyway.

"Been waiting for Jin's call." Jungkook said sadly

"Oh, baby bunny is sad." Hobi said.

"Of course, I am! It's my birthday and my boyfriend is still not with me. It's the first time that I get to have a boyfriend and it makes me sad that he is not here yet."
