Chapter 36: The Pregnancy Journey

Jin and Jungkook requested for their friends and family to join them for a dinner. Jin's father and mother already had a clue, but the rest are still not aware yet about the reason of the dinner. Namjoon and Jimin were unable to travel since their baby is still too young. Jin and Jungkook understood and they did not push for them to come. Still, they requested to have a video call since Jin mentioned that there'll be an important announcement.

Jin's mom prepared a simple dinner and Jungkook also ordered some food for everyone they have invited.

"Baby, what are you doing here? I told you to rest, didn't I?" Jungkook said as he backhugged Jin who was busy putting utensils on the table.

Jin leaned on the hug and held Jungkook's hands that are on his waist. He smiled at his husband and kissed his cheek. "I want to help. It's boring upstairs. Yoongi is busy coloring his new books that Eomma brought for him." He said.

"It's not good for you to keep on doing things. See what happened early this morning? You can't be sick again, baby." Jungkook said as he started leaving light kisses on Jin's clothed shoulder.

"Okay, fine. I will stay at the living room and watch movies. What time are we having our dinner?"

"Visitors will be here at 6. Are you hungry? I can prepare snacks for you if you are." Jungkook said.

Jin smiled at him and nodded. "I want mint chocolate, do you still have that one you bought for yourself last week?"

Jungkook furrowed his brows. It's not that he does not like to share it, but Jin always hated that flavor. "Hm, I thought you don't like that?"

Jin pouted at him. "I don't know. I am suddenly craving for its weird taste." Jin said.

Jungkook smiled. "That's really my baby in there." He said then let go of Jin. "Stay in the living room. I will take the ice cream there." He said.

Jin nodded with a smile and walked to the living room, getting excited for the requested ice cream.

After few minutes, Jungkook went to Jin with the ice cream. Jin happily took it from him, which is very unusual since he never liked the flavor at all.

"I will leave you for a while. I will just continue the table." Jungkook said after leaving a quick peck on Jin's cheek.

Jin nodded as he watched on the television while immersed in the taste of the ice cream he was eating.

Jungkook smiled at him. "You are cute." He muttered under his breath.

The visitors arrived after 30 minutes and Jin excitedly welcomed everyone.

"Are you eating a chocolate mint flavored ice cream, Jin?" Hoseok asked upon seeing what Jin was holding.

Jin nodded at him.

"Jungkook! Where did you put my Jinnie? This is not my Jinnie!" Hoseok said.

"Don't be dramatic, Hobi. Let's go. Eomma and Appa are waiting." He ssaid and pulled Hoseok by his hand while he continuously takes a spoon of his ice cream as they walked together.

Jungkook smiled at his friends who arrived while he prepared for the video call with Jimin. Yoongi was also happily sitting between his grandparents as they taught him how to use the table napkin, making sure that he will still be clean after eating his food.

"Thank you, grandpa." He said when Jin's appa helped Yoongi with his spoon and fork.

"You're welcome, my Yoongichi." He responded.
