Since the start of high school I've had this crush. His sandy mop of hair, his big brown eyes, his plum-

"Hailey, Hailey..." I heard a voice singing. "Hailey Carmichael you snap out of that daydream now!"

"Huh, what?"

I looked to my left to see my best friend Allie giving me a 'what-the-fuck' look.

"Well?" She asked.

"Well what?"

"Jesus Christ Hailey! Me and Nick, what do you think?"

"What about it?"

"Do you think we suit!?!"

"Errrrrrr, sure." I shrugged before getting distracted again.

Oh gosh, there he was. It's like he was moving in slow motion. His bare chest on show to the world as he fooled around with his friends on the school field and I couldn't help observe from my lunch bench which was suitably located to get the optimum view. His cheeky grin, the way he looked back at me.

"OH FUCK!" I quickly ducked my head behind my lunch box snapped my head to look back at Allie who looked at me in shock gripping onto her apple tightly.

"What ARE you doing?"

"He caught me staring." I muttered to myself.

"Who?"

"Justin, of course." We heard another person say as the lunch table shifted with the extra weight.

We both looked to see our other best friend Jamelia sat beside us.

"How did you know?"Allie asked.

"Allie, our Hails here has been obsessing over the boy since the start of high school. Isn't it obvious?"

"No."

"Is it that obvious?" I questioned feeling self conscious.

"Well if you keep your behaviour up, he's sure going to notice." Jamelia paused. "That's if he hasn't already."

"Damn it." I muttered.

"Seriously Hailey, it's never going to happen. He's a jock and well... we're just the loser girls. Jocks never fall for the losers, it's like the unwritten rule." Jam spoke as she buttered her roll. She licked the knife after making Alexa cringe.

"Say it as it is Jam, don't hold back." I replied sarcastically.

"Well do you want me to lie to you?"

I didn't answer.

"Thought not."

"She is right Hails."

"Well what about you and Nick? Isn't he a jock?" I questioned.

"Well, that's. It's different!" Allie defended.

I rolled my eyes in response and turned my attention back to the boys playing on the field. I let my eyes scan until they fell on a group of girls.

"Errrrr, Klarrissa seems to wearing the perfect shade of bitch today." Allie commented obviously looking at what I was.

In the group of girls sat Klarissa, Leanne and Mckenzie. They were like the three musketeers but the evil version. They were the school bitches and a pain in my ass.

Ever since we started at this school, it's like I was their enemy. I've never done anything wrong to them but somehow they ruined my reputation at the school and made me out to be a complete loser.
