HAILEYS POV

After mom's party, it seemed that my name was little more known at school. Probably because they'd got to know my mom more or they'd actually been introduced to me properly.

But for some reason that didn't seem to be only reason.

Maybe it was because of what happened yesterday with Jason walking me through school with his arm around me. It probably sent out false signals or something- it's not like we are together.

"Hey Carmichael." Danny winked as he walked past.

"Can I help you?" I asked with a little attitude.

"I never knew you were into that sort of thing.." he winked again.

"Do you have something in your eye?"

"No." He chuckled.

"Hold on, what do you mean? I never knew you were into that sort of thing? What thing?"

He chuckled again before shrugging and walking away, biting his lip.

That boy is fucked up.

I decided to just ignore him and walk towards school. Jason couldn't give me a lift this morning , he said he has business to take care of. He won't tell me what though.

Everyone were in their usual cliques, all stood in their allocated areas where they all group every morning before school starts officially.

Today, it seemed like they were staring extra hard.

Maybe it was my outfit?

A little too much cleavage?

I headed for my locker and put in the code.

"HOW COULD YOU!?!" I heard someone scream as I was pulled by the shoulder.

I came face to face with Allie who looked furious. Everyone was forming a circle around us to watch.

"What?" I frowned. What did I do?

"DON'T PLAY THE FOOL HAILEY!" She yelled in my face. "I don't care about you're little popularity campaign, it needs to stop! I can't believe you would do that!"

"DO WHAT?" I shouted.

"I can't believe you're trying to deny it." She exclaimed.

"I'm not denying anything, would you just tell me what I've done!" I argued.

"You're dead to me Hailey Carmichael." She spat. She glared at me before turning and storming away.

Jam stood staring at me shaking her head.

"Why would you do it?" She asked quietly.

"Jam, what have-"

But it was too late, she'd already budged her way out the circle and was walking away. I stood in the middle with everyone staring at me, I was speechless.

"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE, SHOWS OVER!" I heard Jason shout pushing through the crowd towards me. Quickly enough, people started to disperse and walk to their classes. "What was that all about?" he asked.

"I don't know." I whispered. I really wanted to cry. I had no idea what I done that was so bad.

"Don't cry Lee Lee.." Jason chuckled wiping a tear away with his thumb. I hadn't even noticed I was.

"Everything's so fucked up; I haven't even done anything wrong."

"Don't worry about it, remember..."
