JUSTINS POV

I watched Hailey as she dabbed wet cotton wool pads on my face gently.

We still hadn't talked since we got to her house. She insisted that she bought me here so she could clean me up. She brought me up to her bathroom and made me sit on the toilet with the lid closed. She worked her way around the room finding all the right equipment.

She bit her lip as she concentrated.

Damn, she looked so beautiful.

"Fuck." I hissed when she dabbed my eye. Whatever she put on that cotton wool pad felt like acid on my skin.

"I'm sorry." She said quietly before getting a fresh bit and carrying on. Once she finished cleaning the blood away, she started to put some weird cream on my face.

"What is that?"

"Its moisturiser, it'll help."

And just like that we were back in silence. It was killing me that her answers were so short. Normally, she'd just be babbling on about nothing and I'd happily listen to her.

The only comfort that I had at the moment was the fact she was even helping me. It felt nice to have her hands on face. It was almost making me sleepy.

"I'm sorry." I croaked.

"What for?" She frowned moving onto moisturising my cheek. I shut my eyes at the touch.

"I didn't mean to get you involved. You shouldn't be with me, you should still be at school.."

"So should you."

Fair enough, but I still felt bad for making her miss school. People were bound to notice she was missing, Hailey was always there.

"I mean, you shouldn't be here, helping me." I corrected.

"I wanted to."

"Why though?"

"Because I wanted to." She repeated. She took her hand away from my face and I immediately wanted her to put it back. She turned away and began rummaging around in the medicine cabinet. She returned with two pills in her hand. "Take this."

I took the two pills from her before I was handed a glass of water.

She watched me intently as I took swallowed them, one by one.

"What they even for?" I winced as they went down my throat.

"You're headache."

"How did you even know I had one?" I chuckled quietly.
