In the game: Chain was originally engaged to princess Pride and was made to go to the palace. He didn't say anything about Prides attitude for a while until he saw her go extreme. He confronted her. Chain agreed but Pride not allowing to read the contract and managed to trick him. She had him kill his own family and most people in his kingdom. Then she made him stay still while she killed him near the end of the game.

Information: When he was younger Chain was put into an arranged marriage with Pride Royal Ivy. He didn't want to marry her because of the rumours but he had no choice. When he first got to the palace he saw the rumours was absolutely true. He then started to distance himself from Pride. He would always hang out with the knights. And train with the sword. Or he go into the library and read books, then he would go to his classes. He has exceptional skills with fighting and strategy. He has a high IQ and when it comes to battle he can come up with so many ways to fight for different outcomes that could happen.
