This is stupid.

What's the point of this? I want to love whoever I want to love. Why does fate have to choose my lover for me? All this soulmate crap, I don't fucking care.

You thought as you frantically tried to scratch the imprinted timer off your wrist.

You never believed in stuff like that. Stuff like, love at first sight or soulmates connected by strings of fate. Those were all bullshit to you.

That timer on your wrist was always there ever since you were born, engraved onto your skin with dark ink, just like a tattoo. The timer, counted down to the day you met your soulmate.

*** (timeskip forward 2 years)

It was a three days before you left to (insert country) to further enhance your carrier as a chef. You sighed as you stared blankly at your flight ticket.

"What's wrong (Y/n)?" One of your dorm members Kobayashi Rindou asked focusing of whatever she was doing.

"That's rare of you to start up a conversation,"

"I'm just concerned for one of my friends,"

"..."

"Have you told Tsukasa about this yet?" She questioned. Tsukasa was one of your best friends, but you haven't told him about your flight yet.

"No,"

"Are you planning on to?"

"I don't know,"

"You better hurry up before it's too late,"

"Ok fine now stop bugging me," you sighed again and took out your phone. You texted Tsukasa, telling him to meet you at the cafe next to the school.

"So, why did you call me here?" Tsukasa asked as he sat down on a chair.

"Ah, nothing. I just wanted to talk to you," you laughed, scratching the back of your head.

"Oh, so... What do you plan on doing after graduation?" He questioned.

Great, why did he have to bring that up?

"Ahem, can we not talk about that for now?" You said, trying to avoid the topic.

"Oh ok then, so... What do you want to talk about?"

"Uh... What about your timer?" You asked, pointing at his wrist. He looked at his wrist and his eyes widened.

"What the..."

"What?" You leaned over the table and looked at his wrist. your eyes widened too.

It read 03:00

"Oh my god! Congrats!"

"B-but w-what if I screw u-up our first m-meeting?"

"Geez calm down Eishi you'll be fine," you gave him a warm smile and patted his back gently.

"Ah! It's counting down!" Tsukasa shrieked.

"Oh my fucking god, quit whining and just calm the fuck down ok?!" You said sounding very irritated. Tsukasa gulped. You heaved a sigh and stared into your coffee, taking a small sip from it. Tsukasa stood up and went to the counter. he payed for both of your drinks, he saw you glaring at him. He knew that you never liked it when someone pays for you.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he said. You let out a loud irritated sigh.

Tsukasa's hands started shaking, you gave him another gentle pat on the back and pushed him forward slightly.

"You'll be fine," you assured him as you smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up.

Oh well I'm fucked. I accidentally published this before I even finished it. Anyway I can't be bothered so I left it on a cliffhanger, part 2 will come out tomorrow. I am very sorry. Blame it all on wattpad. I really feel like raging right now I'm sorry. God damn wattpad why doesn't it confirm if I want to publish this or not?
