Nine and Rusty Rose's Adventure

Act 17: Starlight Speedway

So far Sonic was still missing and there was no telling if the main prism was even in tact. However, Nine and Rusty were on the move with their plans to set things right.

Rusty: "It is a lovely night today, isn't it?"

Nine: "I couldn't agree more."

Both Nine and Rusty were traversing the area in search of another piece of the prism. Nine was slowly adjusting to his new holographic form. Unfortunately he couldn't leave the unknown prism area since he didn't have the resources to alter the prism. However, even though Nine was in hologram form, Rusty would still look out for him.

Rusty: "Is there anything I can do to assist you further?"

Nine: "Nah I'm good. Thanks though."

Rusty: "So how are things going with the prism?"

Nine: "Well it's kind of going both ways. You see, I've actually discovered a way to enhance and control some of the prism's energy. Right now the hologram you see before you is being telepathically controlled by a part of my subconsciousness."

Rusty: "Is it too much for you?"

Nine: "I can still maintain the process here and there."

The cybernetic being gives a warm smile at her friend feeling very relieved by that outcome.

Rusty: "We'll try to figure this out, don't worry."

As the two were heading down the area they were met with an infuriated Eggman X. He was finally having enough of the antic made by the heroes and had a special message for them and the two were paying great attention.

Eggman X: "I have grown very irritated of you meddling nuisances and your nonsense. So now comes the time for me to put en end to you once and for all."

Nine: "And from what my friend has told me about you, I ought to teach you a lesson on putting her through all of that."

Rusty: "You wont be putting us in anymore problems either, so I suggest you flee while you have the chance."

Eggman X: "Be as it may I had already arranged a special surprise for this occasion."

Nine: "Do your worst doctor, because now you've got two heroes to deal with."

Rusty: "And this time Nine is here to stay too."

As the two chased after the doctor, ready to shut down his reign of terror, Scratch and Grounder were awaiting on one of the streets with a set of EggRobos ready to deal with the doctor's enemies.

Grounder: "You don't need to babysit every day but you could offer to watch the rest of the special EggRobos. I mean, these fellas aren't the sharpest tools in the shed."

Scratch: "look, all I'm saying is that these bots aren't going to last in this fight, but somehow I feel as though this is a demotion we're doing right now."

Nine: "You guys did all that and still get treated like junk? Sheesh, what a pity."

Grounder: "It is going to be a painful process getting the sense knocked into your head you Nine tailed brat."

Nine: "Again with the insults. Seriously, can you cut that out already?"

Rusty: "I concur Nine."

This angers Scratch and attempts to attack the holographic fox But several blasts from his lasers and a few swings with his fists don't deal any damage at his opponent. Then Grounder attempt to take a go at him only to face the same process. Rusty however was decommissioning several of the robots as if they were made out of wood.
