"Do you know what you're doing?" Vinnie questioned Cardi as they were all sat in the back of the van.
"Yes." Cardi said as he nodded glumly.
"Tell me." Vinnie said.
"Keeping watch, making sure no-one comes." Cardi said upset that he wasn't going with them.
"That's right. And?" Vinnie questioned.
"And... And... First alert if cops show up." Cardi confirmed to them to show that he knew the plan.
"Good lad. Don't think we're not taking you in there cos you won't be useful. This is an important part of the mission. Up here's the eyes and ears. If you run into any problems, I want you to get me on the walkie-talkie, guaranteed up to 500 metres." Vinnie said as he showed Cardi the walkie-talkie.
"Or come and get me from the pub." Lottie said with an encouraging smile on her face.
"Testing, testing." Vinnie said into the walkie-talkie, "Testing, testing." He said again when Cardi didn't respond.
"Received. Over." Cardi said with a growing smile.
"Good lad." Vinnie said as they all got out the van.
"Good luck sweethearts." Lottie said as she went round hugging everyone just in case, "Call me if you need any help." Lottie said to Vinnie before she kissed him goodbye.
"I will love." Vinnie said before she walked back to the pub.

"Lottie! Lottie! It's urgent." Cardi shouted as he came into the pub.
"Cardi? What's wrong?" Lottie said worried about the boy.
"There's a thingy... A truck over the thingy." Cardi try to tell her as he began to stutter badly.
"Calm down sweetheart." Lottie said as she rubbed his arms hoping to calm him down.
"There's a truck. I need to find the driver, ask if he's in it. It's parked over the...mmm..." Cardi tried as he couldn't say manhole, "The hole the lads are down! They can't get out." Cardi finally told her the problem.
"How did a bloody truck park there, Cardi? Where were you? What if it's there all night? How will they get out?" Lottie said as she began to panic herself slightly beginning to hum.
"Cardi! Cardi!" Someone shouted to him as Lottie walked toward a group of people.
"Ladies and gents has anyone parked a truck round back?" Lottie asked some of the punters who all just shook their heads, "Cardi come on. We'll have to find this truck driver." Lottie said as she grabbed her coat when Kath gave her the all clear.
