Vinnie had been staying in the weed grow for a month and a half already and beginning to feel cabin fever. He hardly saw Lottie as they decided that it would be safer if she still lived at the shack, but Lottie refused and chose to live in the spare room at Jim's, not wanting to be alone.
Lottie did their secret knock on the hatch door to let Vinnie know it was her before making her way into the weed grow.
"Hey lover." Lottie said happily when she saw him lying on the sofa.
"Hey sweetheart." Vinnie replied with a smile on his face as she lied down on top of him for a cuddle.
"How are you today?" She asked softly, knowing that he's been struggling.
"Better for seeing you." Vinnie told her truthfully as he kissed her forehead, holding her tighter.
"Did you see Tyler yesterday?" She asked.
"Yep. I think I gave him head lice though." He said with a laugh as Lottie lifted her head up to look at him annoyed.
"Come on. Up." Lottie said as she got up and went to get the comb to de-lice his hair again.
"Noooo." Vinnie groaned, but got up when she glared at him like an angry kitten and pointed to the chair.

"There. All done." Lottie said once she saw no more head lice.
"Perfect. Come sit here a minute." Vinnie said to her as he pointed for her to sit on his lap. Once she sat down Vinnie wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her in place as his other hand gently stroked her cheek. "I really love and appreciate everything you've done for me. I don't know what I've done to deserve you or how you've managed to stay with me all this time, but I'm so thankful." He said to her emotionally, which made her tear up.
"You think so lowly of yourself because of this." She said as she touched his head, "But I love you because of it. You have such a good heart and soul which makes it impossible not to love you." She said gently, which made Vinnie cry softly.
"Hush now. Before I become a sobbing mess." He said tearfully as he placed a finger over her mouth, which made her smile. "I wanted to show you how much I love you by giving you this." Vinnie said to her as he reached into his pocket.
"Vinnie..." Lottie said in disbelief when he pulled a ring out of his pocket and held it up to her.

"Lottie... Will you love me and my messed up head forever and marry me?" Vinnie asked her nervously as he waited for her answer.
"Yes! Of course I will, you idiot!" Lottie said crying happy tears as she kissed him deeply. Vinnie cried happily himself as he shakily placed the ring on Lottie's finger, gently giving it a kiss afterwards.
"I love you so much." Vinnie and Lottie both said at the same time causing them both to laugh happily with each other.
"It's beautiful." Lottie said softly as she looked at the ring.
"Do ya like it?" Vinnie asked wanting to double check.
"It's perfect." Lottie reassured him, "It's everything I could ask for. Your everything I could ask for." Lottie told him happily as she kissed him again.
Vinnie managed to pick her up and carry her over to the sofa never breaking the kiss until they fell onto the sofa. They carried on kissing as they basked in the love they felt for each other, both of them excited for the next chapter in their lives.
