Ch. 18

Weeks had passed since my dinner with Sunghoon and the small argument I had with Hyunjin.

And since that day, the asshole watched me like a hawk.

I kid you not, it's like I'm a kid and he's my parent or a nanny.

Every day when I go to work, he calls when I start and when I finish making sure I got home. Even when I go to the convenience store to buy stuff he sometimes insists on coming with me.

And when I try to whine to Yeji or the girls or even the guys, they think I'm joking cause he's my "boyfriend".

He always gets on my nerves as if we're like actually dating and he's literally claiming me.

Today I was just sitting in the living room watching tv and minding my business, when Yeji came in with her hands full of bags and suit cases.

"What's going on?", I asked getting up from the couch and went to help her.

"My parents are here from their business trip to Japan", she said as she heaved a sigh from the carrying.

I have met Yeji and Hyunjins parents when I was a teen, and I have been close with them too.

Then Mrs Hwang came in and when she saw me she let out a small squeal and hugged me.

"Oh my goodness Nari sweetie, I missed you sooo much! How are you?!", she said as we both broke the hug.

"I missed you too, and I'm doing great"

"Thats good to hear, and how about your mom? How is she? And oh how you've become so beautiful..", she exclaimed adoring me.

"My mom's doing great too, and thank you so much for the compliment.", I replied to her smiling.

"Hey! You didn't even tell your own daughter that she's pretty", Yeji suddenly grumbled crossing her arms, which caused the both of us to laugh.

"Oh honey, of course you're beautiful, just like your own mother.", Mrs Hwang said kissing her cheek.

"Hey this is the last luggage, oh hey Nari how are you doing?", Mr Hwang then came in.

"I'm doing great, thanks for asking"

Then a dog came from behind him, and started barking.

When I took a closer look, I realized that it was kkami, the Hwangs dog.

It was basically Hyunjins but his parents decided to take him to the trip with them.

"Hey kkami baby, did you enjoy your trip?", Yeji said in a baby voice as she nealed to kkamis height and pet him, as he barked.

I went and pet him too, and surprisingly he let me.

"Seems like he still remembers me", I chuckled as I pet him while we all just smiled.

Then kkami ran upstairs, me and Yeji following him, only to see the dog going into Hyunjins room.

"Heh, no matter how much he loves us or mom and dad, his love for that dramatic llama aka his dad, will always be more.", Yeji said as we both were smiling as we stared at the dog rummaging through his room.

Speaking of him, where was he today?

I didn't see him today, which was weird.

"If you're thinking of where he went, I think he went to one of the guys house I don't know.", Yeji suddenly said as if she read my mind.

Then we both went downstairs and sat with Mr and Mrs Hwang as we all laughed and chatted.

Then Yeji pulled me to my room.
