⋆.˚ NARI POV⋆.˚"Yeah right, I'll show you how to fuck off sweetheart.", his deep voice whispered onto my ear, as I just stared at him.
"Hyunjin, what are you doing?..", I finally asked, and he just smirked, and then chuckled softly, his hot breath fanning the shell of my ear.
"Come on, baby. I know you want this.", he said in a dark tone, as his eyes were now full of lust, as he backed away to let me see him.
I didn't even get the chance to say something, when he suddenly smashed his lips onto mine.
I couldn't even think straight as Hyunjin's lips moved against mine with urgency, his hands gripping my waist, pulling me closer. My mind screamed at me to push him away, to stop this, but my body betrayed me as I melted into the kiss.
His lips were soft but demanding, as if he'd been waiting for this moment just as much as I had, though neither of us had dared to admit it. My hands found their way to his chest, but instead of pushing him back, I gripped his shirt tightly, pulling him closer.
When he finally pulled away, we were both breathless. His eyes, dark with desire, locked onto mine as he whispered, "You don't have to pretend, Nari. I know you feel it too."
I opened my mouth to respond, but nothing came out. The fake dating, the boundaries we'd set—it was all blurring now. What was real, and what wasn't?
I took a shaky breath, trying to regain some sense of control. "This... this wasn't part of the plan, Hyunjin."
His smirk softened into something more vulnerable, his thumb brushing against my cheek. "Maybe the plan was wrong all along."
"You're the one who made the list of rules, and it clearly said no physical contact.", I stated and he only groaned.
"Fuck the list.", then he kissed me once again, but with hunger this time.
We continued our make out session, as his hands started moving and roaming around my body, when he suddenly snaked his hand underneath my shirt, causing me to gasp.
My gasp only made him amused, causing him to insert his tongue in my mouth, and explored my mouth, as I let out a breathy moan.
His lips then started moving towards my jaw and down to my neck, trailing kisses.
"Damn you, Lee Nari.", he groaned and as his hands were about to remove my shirt, suddenly someone walked in.
"Hey man, we're waiting down-"
I pushed Hyunjin off of me, and we both turned around only to see Jisung standing there with a bag of chips in his hands as he stared at us in shock.
"What the fuck are you doing here, Sung?", he asked annoyed, and about to jump on his beloved poor friend.
"Don't you remember? all of us were supposed to meet today ,at this hour, here in your house."
Hyunjin just pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration, running his hand through his hair. "Right... I forgot."
Jisung's eyes darted between Hyunjin and me, a smirk creeping onto his face. "Well, well, well. This explains why you two have been late to everything lately. Couldn't keep your hands off each other, huh?"
I could feel my face heat up as I scrambled to smooth out my shirt, trying to ignore the awkward tension in the room. "It's not like that," I mumbled, but even I didn't sound convincing.
Hyunjin, still flustered, shot Jisung a deadly glare. "What part of knocking don't you understand, Sung?"
Jisung held up his hands in surrender, backing out slowly. "Hey, I'm not judging. Just... maybe take this somewhere a little more private next time. We'll be downstairs." He winked before walking out, leaving us in stunned silence.
As soon as the door clicked shut, I let out a deep breath, stepping away from Hyunjin. "We're going to have to explain this, you know."
Hyunjin just shrugged, but there was something mischievous in his eyes. "Let them think what they want. It's not like we're doing anything wrong."
I raised an eyebrow, feeling my heart pound from both the kiss and the close call. "Yeah, except for the fact that we're *not* actually dating."
He smiled softly, leaning down to brush a stray hair from my face. "Maybe we should change that."
I blushed and looked down then said, "go now, or else they'll probably be planning our wedding by now."
He chuckled and gave me a peck on the cheek, and turned to leave.
As he was about to walk outside he then turned to me.
"I'm not done with you yet, sweetheart."

A few hours later, I found myself sitting on a bench outside with Yeji, who was busy scrolling through her phone. The others were still inside, laughing and talking, but I needed a break—some air to clear my head.
Yeji glanced up at me. "You've been quiet since dinner. What's on your mind?"
I bit my lip, unsure how to respond. I couldn't exactly tell her the truth, could I? That Hyunjin and I weren't really together, that this whole thing was just a setup. But the lines were blurring, and my head was spinning with confusion. The kiss, the way he looked at me, his teasing words—it all felt too real.
"Nothing, just... a lot on my mind," I finally said, my voice quieter than usual.
Yeji raised an eyebrow, studying me for a moment. "Is it about Hyunjin?"
Of course, she'd bring him up. Everyone always did. I sighed, trying to sound casual. "Kind of. It's just... complicated."
She smiled, putting her phone away. "That's what relationships are like, Nari. Complicated, messy, but worth it."
I looked down at my hands, feeling a strange pang in my chest. But it's not real. It wasn't supposed to feel this real.
Yeji nudged me gently. "You two seem good together, though. He really cares about you, you know?"
I forced a smile, but inside, my thoughts were a tangled mess.
Did Hyunjin care about me? Or was he just playing his part like I was? And why was I starting to wish this whole fake relationship could be something more?
I sighed and stood up to excuse myself, and went upstairs to my room, and picked out a book from my shelf.
I sat down near the window, and opened the book and started reading.
No matter how much words I read, I still couldn't understand what was going on in the book. My mind was still full of Hyunjin and what he told me earlier.
Even the chat with Yeji. Why would he care about me, if this is all fake?
Nonsense Nari, everyone cares for each other, even if they're not lovers.
But that's not what I want...
