ALEXIS'S POV

"Omoh... Good will punish that maths teacher for me aswear!" Stacy added crying dramatically and I looked at her amused.

"We both know you're just whining yourself shaa cause on a normals you no fit whine me" I finally said to her after getting tired of her nonsense.

Stacy was like the best female maths student in our set. She might not be so damn good in other subjects but she just has this love for maths. Seeing her blab about not knowing what she wrote in the maths exam was just slowly getting on my nerves and worse still it annoyed the few students sitting in the classroom.

"But seriously it wasn't so easy yknow" she added with a cute pout and I shook my head.

"Keep on oppressing me ooo! It's fine God will save the oppressed" I cleaned fake tears and she looked at me with wide eyes. And I couldn't help but laugh so hard.

"Wow! I never knew humans could have such large saucers for eyes you know"

"Werey!" She said with an eye roll.

"Babes see as this place just dey dry, why you no get gist na? I can manage you and Adam's gist shaa. As long as you don't oppress me too much with your lovey dovey stories" i said with a pout and she blushed.

"Adam's so cute yknow."

"All thanks to you I know. Cause you can't just stop talking about him" I teased and she blushed harder. Nawaoh! Me too I go love shaa....

"But Alexis, what about Raymond? You haven't talked about him since and you guys haven't spoken to each other since the mock exam started. More like you've been avoiding him"

"The guy is just annoying."

"So that means that after the incident that day you guys were eye f*cking each other by the window you haven't spoken or texted since?" She asked with a Knowing grin and I resorted to chasing her. I was so gonna smack sense into her head. Which one is eye fucking each other now? Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew.

"Oya sorry nau" She pleaded.

"Apologies not accepted." I cut in.

"Please nau... My love" she teased and I chuckled.

"You want Adam to break my head ni??"

"Normal na!" Chai! This girl is not normal. Lol!

I heard someone call Stacy and I noticed it was Adams.

"Permit me to borrow her for a moment" he said to me politely with a smile and I nodded returning his smile too. Adams was indeed a handsome guy almost the most handsome though just that Raymond has that title.

So u think Raymond is handsome huh?

My subconscious mind teased me and I shrugged.

"Take care of her my in law! And buy something for your sister in law ooo! Don't just spoil your wife with gifts and forget her immediate family" I winked and he saluted me.

"No probs ma!" He replied with a wide grin and I chuckled. I watched them move out of the door. He sneaked his hands round her waist and she chuckled at something he said. Those two are just so perfect together. Now I'm all alone in the now empty class. Those days when I still had Raymond we would sit here and tease each other while talking about random stuff or discussing a novel together. Most times he just listened to me sing and afterwards tell me how much of a great singer I was. I just miss those times. We used to be best friends but right now I don't even know if I can call us friends anymore.

We just had Civic next tomorrow and after that our mock exams will come to an end. Jamb would be coming two weeks from then and after that WAEC followed. The timetable was out already and for some reasons I wasn't even scared of the exam. I had written GCE when I was in SS2 and I cleared it all so normally this she be easier I guess.

I open the favorite app on my phone which is Wattpad of course and I scroll to the book I was writing. I've been so busy with school work that I almost never had time for it. Besides I wanted to make my dad proud. He was always so busy with work trying so hard to provide for our needs and all and the least I can do to appreciate him was study hard right?

I started searching for the lyrics of a song that caught my attention ever since. I've been humming it since tho but I decided to just look up the lyrics today so I won't sound so stupid in case someone walks in on me....

I sang with my headset still in its place. I noticed someone was there so I removed the headset. Yknow that feeling that someone is staring at you.

I turned to see who it was and my eyes met with his. He smiled at me but I rolled my eyes at him and hissed. What the hell is he doing here huh? Last time I checked I'm in a junior class cos I didn't want anyone walking in on me. I just love my alone time though so that's me for you.

He sighed and I don't know if that's hurt I see in his eyes but whatever emotions it was just vanished almost immediately I saw them. I stared at him or should I use the word glare instead. I hate to admit that he added a little height though and had some facial hairs appearing which he trimmed, he just looked annoying breath taking and I felt angry at myself to admit that. I didn't want him to hype himself too much shaa so I tore my gaze from his and stood up packing my things.

"Alexis" he whispered in a low tone. I just love the way his voice sounds when he calls my name.

You're meant to be mad at him girl!

I chastised myself.

"What is it?" Is asked with a frown and he came closer to me holding my hands and I can swear I felt a tingling sensation there.

"I'm sorry" he said looking into my eyes.

Raymond apologised to her after all and with the way Alexis is just acting all hyper and all that. I feel like she's not going to hear him out. That girl sef eh🤦
