Chapter 15

KELECHI'S POV

"Damn! I'mma beat you hands down bro!" Tyler boasted. They were playing PS5 in the living room, he shared the apartment with Tyler. It was a two rooms flat which had a kitchen and bathrooms in each room.

"Dey play young man! I say deeeey plaaaay!" (Keep on joking young man)
"By the time I'm done you'll definitely know who's the boss!" I added and Tyler scoffed.

We kept on playing and he actually beat me twice! Chai! I'll have to admit he's really good though but what's the fun in showering him with praises?

"Yoo mehn! I told you I'mma beat you hands down and I did! Now you know who's the boss" he said with a huge grin and I repeat his sentence while mimicking his American accent. That made him glare at me.

"God I'm so damn hungry bro!" Tyler whined. Isn't your bestie coming anymore?" He asked while straining the word bestie,I noticed his wink too.
Foolish boy!

"I guess she's busy" I say to him while eating a pack of Oreo biscuits. I'm hungry too though but Luxury is busy, she told me earlier she was going to make her hair so I doubt if she'll have the time to come over and cook for us as usual.

Yeah!

As usual because she's actually the one that does the cooking here. We've been really close since our junior secondary school and I know the challenges her family are facing so I took it upon myself to help her out in any way I can. My parents are really fond of her too and even though I've never mentioned it to her before, my parents were actually the ones that influenced her scholarship into this school. Students were rarely given scholarships here and even if they were given it was a once in a blue moon stuff but all thanks to the high connection, they pulled some strings and now here she is!

I'm actually an only child and i know my parents always wanted another sibling so I guess that's why they were able to bond with her. She's a cool person and loveable too.

Enough of my random talks tho! About the cooking stuff she actually insisted doing it for free but I couldn't let that happen. I know she needs cash regularly and I also don't want her doing menial jobs around so that's why I pay her everyday for cooking. She always complains about how much I spend on her so I had to find just a tangible excuse to do that without much questioning. With that she won't feel indebted to me.

A knock was heard on the door and that pulled me out of my thoughts for a while.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Tyler asked turning his head to my direction. His eyes was originally drawn to the television.

"No" I'm sure Luxury is a fan of long braids and there's no way she would be done by now so who else could it be? Tyler stood up from the sofa and walked to the door. He peeped at it and looked at me while stifling a laugh. Now I'm curious to know who the hell it is. Just then Natasha walked in and I hissed.

Just when I was about to conclude today went just well this.... What should I use to qualify her sef? Wareva! She just spoilt the day right now.

"Hey boyfriend!" She said with a grin. Tyler glanced at me and winked. I'll deal with that later.

"What are you doing here?" I ask her in a calm tone.

"Is it a crime for a girlfriend to visit her boyfriend?" She asked while chewing a gum noisily. Lack of manners, lack of everything! Mtcheew!

"What do you want Natasha?" I asked already feeling irritated.

"It's Tasha for you darling!" She muttered in a tone she might think was seductive while she trailed her fingers on my chest.

"Uhm... Yeah! Guys! I have somewhere to be right now. I'll allow you couples to do your thing" Tyler said with a forced grin at her while he smirked at me.

"Bye Tee!" She said and he forced a smile. I watched him close the door and Natasha scooped closer to me leaning into me.

"He's gone now so don't be shy" she whispered and kept training her fingers on my chest. Now this is getting more than irritating! I took her hands off me and stood up from the sofa I was sitting.

"Natasha or Tasha or anything you call yourself. What is it that you need? I'm sick and tired of you pestering my life. What is all these nau? Mtcheew!"

"We're in a relationship y'know and I just wanna spend time with my boyfriend. Couple goals!" She replied batting her lashes and I scoffed.

"What do you want us to do then?" I asked in frustration.

She walked up to me and smiled sexily at me while pulling the neck of her crop top just to reveal more cleavage.

How can someone this young already have fallen heroes?
Who am I whining sef? When all the guys she's met has had a taste of it. Slut!

I don't know why but all her stunts had no effect on me. She never really had the slightest effect on me. The only one that was actually my on doing is....
Her rough palms meeting with my groins through my jeans made me jerk away from her!

"What the hell is wrong with you Natasha?"

"I just wanted Vitamin Dee" she muttered and Drew closer to me again and this time I pushed her on the sofa a little bit harsh.

"This wasn't a part of the contract or was it?" I asked in annoyance and she smiled at me. Smiling makes her uglier.

"But we're in a relationship and couples do this right? You've never even kissed me before!" She said in frustration and I sighed.

"Natasha. All these weren't supposed to go this way. You're supposed to play your part while I pay you that's all!" I replied with my voice already at edge.

"What if I don't really want the money. I just want you... Y'know the you that's under you..." She whispered seductively and I cringe at that. There was no way I was going to have s*x with her!

"That's not happening and now I'm being serious. Don't try this rubbish with me again!"

"But we're in a relationship nau?" She whined.

"We're not!" I shot back at her. And she groaned in frustration.

"Babyyy...!"

"This is just a situationship! A contract and you need to get your work done!"

"Just a contract. I know that but..."

"No buts!"

Well about the contract sef eh me don't know for them shaa🤷🤷🤷
