Chapter 13

KELECHI'S POV

"Shit bro you messed up big time mehn!" I shut my eyes in anger, why would Tyler keep on reminding me of that? I know I fucked up and that's why I want to make amends.

"You know how difficult she can be and c'mon mehn! You practically humiliated her in front of everyone" he added.

"Can you just shut up man just shut the hell up!"

"That's it! There you go again" he said in his annoying American accent which got me so mad at him. He's lived in US for some years so he has the accent worth envying and mehn he talks just very close to too much.

"You know I'm seriously thinking of what to do and here you are, squashing the only hope I have left." I say in frustration.

"Roger that! You actually acted like a big letter D buh since you're my friend I'm not gonna tell you that" he said like he just said the most intelligent thing in the world.

"Didn't you just call me that already?" I asked faking annoyance and he had a marvelled look on his face.

"Ohhh... Did I? I really didn't though. I was just saying that it you weren't my friend I would have said you acted like a capital letter D"

"You dey crase!" I say smacking his arm and he feighed hurt. I became quiet again and he looked at me then burst into feets of laughter. What's up with this dude! I glared so hard at him but he laughed even louder and now I couldn't help it but laugh too, his laugh was quite contagious.

"It's damn funny seeing you all worked up mehn! I need to take a picture" he said and is scoffed.

"Buh seriously do you think I should go over to her apartment and apologise or should I... Urghh! I've never been this clueless in my life" I groaned and he now had a serious look on his face. He looked like he was thinking and after a while he snapped his fingers like there was a bulb in his head and he just made a new discovery. So dramatic!

"Are you going to talk to me or will just sit there like another Albert Einstein?" He raised his hands in mock surrender and I hiss.

"It's better you go to her place and apologise officially. Or better still if you see her in school today I guess it's good"

"You know we both offer almost all the courses so I'll obviously see her. Just that she's going to ignore me" I sigh.

"Look who's being pessimistic right now" he mocked.

"I'm not being so negative unlike you. I've Known Luxury for so long so I'm just stating the obvious Mr Tyler" I added the last part to get on his nerves. He claims Mr makes him feel old. Like seriously! Lol!

"Whatever! If she ignores you then you go to her place later. Understood?" He asks like he's been teaching the most difficult class on earth. This is not going to be easy though.

"Yeah yeah. I get you."

"So ain't you gonna say thanks?" He asked. I expected that.

"Thanks but definitely no thanks" he rolled his eyes and gave me the middle finger. If only Tyler wasn't a chronic womanizer I would have sworn he's gay.

"Now go wash up dude! You stink!" He said as a matter of factly and I glared at him but he just winked at me and I scrunched up my face.

"Ewww!" I added and he laughed at me. I have to shower though in as much as I'll like to play around I still have lectures by 10 and the course rep did say the annoying old man was giving us a test so I have to be early. The lecturer was so strict and what got me so annoyed was most especially because he would never accept money or anything from students to boost their grades. I heard they say he's a member of Deeper Life, I'll probably meet him in heaven and of course that's if he will eventually make it with his Mr goody two shoes attitude.

Tyler had already showered since he's the overly neat type. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not a pig but Tyler takes so much consideration in his looks like a female and I guess that's because he has five hot elder sisters so I don't blame him at all. Yeah! Hot because I literally had a crush on his immediate elder sister even though she was three years older than me.

We shared the apartment and it was cool having him around. We've been family friends for some time now so we're like brothers. He knows much about me while I know about him too.

We got into our car and rode off to Campus. I parked at the parking lot while I scanned everywhere with my eyes.

"We have just twenty minutes to get to class" Tyler says while nudging me before walking briskly to class while I followed behind. I got to the class and like expected all eyes were on Tyler and my humble self and when I say all eyes I mean the ladies. We were so popular and equally handsome that most ladies would kill to get into Tyler's bed definitely not mine cos I might be the overly friendly guy but not the type to jump into a one night stand. I flash them my million dollar smile as I bounced to the vacant chair at the back. Tyler already sat with a pretty girl at the front who seemed so happy to have him and lucky him! She looks smart too. As for myself I'm actually intelligent enough to write tests and at least get a B not bragging though. Just that my head has been clouded with Luxury since day before yesterday and I really need to apologise to her at least. I just hope I ace this test.

I sat down at an empty chair and realized she wasn't in class yet.

"Good morning class" the lecture said while walking in simultaneously.

"Excuse me sir!" Alexis scurried up immediately while Luxury followed. They explained why they were late to the man in hushed tones and he let them in. Wow! A miracle indeed!

Alexis sat beside a certain guy while Luxury had no other chance than to sit beside me when the lecturer glared at her. She made sure she looked at everywhere else but at me. The man started to dribble some questions on the board with his terrible writing while the class was quiet for obvious reasons, he was a no nonsense man. I nudged Luxury with my pen and she glared daggers at me.

"We need to talk. Please" I pleaded but she scoffed.

"Please" I added my voice slightly above a whisper. This made her to turn her whole body at me.

"Leave me the hell alone!" She said with a note of finality and just then the ugly lecturer met his gaze.

"You there.... Yes! You on blue. Stand up. And remain standing for the next ten minutes. And mind you I'm not allocating an extra time to you" he added with his signature frown. Tyler gave me a pitiful look before shaking his head and I buried my head on my hand for a while.

God what the hell have I gotten myself into! She's going to get real mad at me for this. I could have waited till the devil is gone.

Nice way to go Kcee! I chastised myself with the guilt eating me inside.
