Chapter 12

ALEXIS'S POV

Knock!!! knock!!! knock!!!

Omoh! Who the hell is at the door for crying out loud. Before I could stand up the person knocked again and I scoffed.

"Do you want to break my door!" I yelled at the unknown person at the door" I walked to the door grudgingly and opened in a way that t could sneak at the person while he or she couldn't even steal a glance at my room. Who was I kidding? It was none other than Raymond! He was the only person that knocked like a stupid person. I was overly excited to see him but I couldn't let him know that. It would only make him feel too important.

"Do u plan on breaking my door?" I asked and he grinned at me. I held back a smile.

"So you're not happy to see me?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Not so happy since you interrupted my sleep" Who the hell am I kidding? I'm so happy to see him.

"Ohh alright then, I'll leave you to sleep." He said with an expressionless face. Was he actually gonna leave? He put his hands inside his pocket and I watched him bounce away.

"Ah ah naa! U sef eh you too dey do" I said while dragging him upstairs to my door and he had a mischievous smirk on his face.

"I knew you'd call me back" he said proudly and I hissed.

"I didn't miss you though, it's just that I don't want to seem like a bad person by asking you out" I added and he laughed.

"Dey play? Who you wan whine ni?"

"That's your business. I don't have your time"

"That one is a big lie because you must have my time ooo. I'll make sure you have my time" he said and I smiled. He looked more handsome this morning. I sat on my bed and moved inside so that my back could lean on the bed rest. He looked at me and shook his head then sat on the egg chair while dragging it close to the bed which made a lot of noise. I glared at him but he winked at me while I rolled my eyes at him.

"So how has your first week here been?" He asked and I dragged myself closer to him while I kept my feet on his lap. He raised an eyebrow while I scoffed.

"So get started my boy" I say patting his head while he laughed.

"I'm older than you antie"

"And so? Just massage naa... I've missed it" I say and he smirked.

"Someone finally agreed she missed this handsome young man"

"I didn't miss you, I just missed the massage that's all" I said in defence and he ignored me while gently rubbling my feet and aswear it made me feel tingles. His eyes was fixated on me the whole time and he had a cocky smile in his face.

"So the gist?" He asked and I nodded. Why the hell was I suddenly nervous?
I narrated the whole event to him while we laughed and commented on some. He was a great listener and he never for once pulled his eyes from me. His thumb still unconsciously rubbed my feet and I loved the feeling. He was the best person to give a feet massage and he was good.

"So what about you? How has things been?" I asked and he grinned showing his wonderful dentition.

"Dad actually has a house here. It's actually a duplex and has about five rooms he said I could occupy it. It's not so far from school though. Just seven minutes drive so it's cool." I knew quite well the seven minutes drive would achieved with him driving on top speed. Main reason I never took a ride from him. Never! I love my life and in as much as I really wanna go to heaven, I think I'm not ready to meet the Lord yet. At least not so soon.
