RAYMOND'S POV

"Raymond please can you help me with this question? I'm not really so good at this" Kimberly said batting her lashes trying so hard to be seductive.

Omoh! Wetin Raymond never see for this life. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew.

"I've been explaining this same thing to you for the past how many minutes. Why aren't you getting it?" I asked irritated, the frustration very evident in my tone.

"I just can't seem to focus with you here by my side" she said to me coming closer and tracing her fingers on my chest.

What the hell!

I shook her hands away and stood up from the chair. She stood up and came closer to me.

"Babe I want you back please.... I love you" she replied.

"Enough of this nonsense Kimberly. I think your stay here is over. Lock the door when you leave" I said suddenly being agitation.

"Is it because of that yellow paw paw? So she's the reason you're chasing me out of your house abi? After everything we've been through Raymond?"

"You can say whatever you want to say though but all I need you to know is that I'm tired of you being a big pest in my life."

"So you want me to fail my JAMB right? You know I'm not good at English babe."

"Hmm. Listen to your self antie. You're an art student, I'm a science student. You do literature, I don't. Here you are expecting me to teach you English. It doesn't even make sense seriously. Please go amd read for your exam"

"Baby please"

She whined and I hissed.

I thought today was going to be blissful until I heard a knock at the door revealing my most unwanted human in the whole world. I was about going to Alex's house for a final revision before the set date for the exam then the idiot showed up.

Funny enough how she's trying to seduce me. Well she's actually pretty, curvy and all that and to think she was my first kiss got me really annoyed at myself. She's just so cringe. I watched her carry her bag and step out of my house.

Finally!

I'm kinda scared of the exam though. I wish I'll get a very reasonable score so I'll be able to study the course my dad wants me to. He willed his companies to me as his first son and according to him I must take over them. I've always wanted to be a doctor but dad had to ruin and everything.

THIRD PERSON POV

The students of SS3 all walked out of the big hall used for external exams. They just wrote their last exam in secondary school. Everywhere was so noisy and they all rejoiced and took pictures with friends. They all were wishing themselves congrats for scaling through the exams while others prayed for exam success, it was quite normal to be scared of the results.

"Hey Ray!" Alexis called while hugging him tight. He was I'm the middle of his friends and he couldn't stop the blush that crept up his face.

"What's up baby girl!" He greeted after they separated from the hug.

"I'm just so happy aswear! I can't believe I'm done with secondary school... Omoh! I'm a big girl now ooo!" She chuckled and they laughed.

"Boss what's up na?" She greeted one of Raymond's friends and he shook he hand with a grin.

"I dey ooo" he replied his hand still holding hers. Raymond glared at him but the other guy laughed so hard.

"Edu this one no be normal handshake again ooo" the guy added and Edu smirked at Raymond who rolled his eyes at them.

"You guys are crazy seriously" Alexis chuckled.

"We're crazy for you baby," he teased. And Raymond scoffed.

"Alexis don't mind them. I think you should go meet Stacy before she starts looking forward you" Raymond said trying to dismiss her. She smiled at him while she waved at them before leaving.

"Raymond my guy!" The other guy said and laughed so hard.

"Thunder fire all of una. Werey!" He added and they laughed again.

"I thought you said you don't like her na? Me I like her so what's your own?" Edu asked with a smirk.

"She's off limits dude! I don't need you to like her!"

"Omoh... Me too I go love ooo!" The other guy sang and Raymond smacked his head playfully.

"Why not just tell her you like her?" Edu asked him. His face now becoming serious.

"I don't like her like that. We're just friends" he shrugged.

"Friends that get jealous when a guy hits on the other abi?" He asked and Raymond looked at him with a bored expression on his face.

"Guy! Are we seriously talking about this?' he asked trying so hard to change the topic.

"We are ooo! Denial is the first stage of love tho" the other guy grinned and Raymond shook his head.

"Abeg Edu let us go and celebrate our last day as students in Melvicks high instead of arguing over what you know isn't true." Raymond added.

"If you say so. But just know that I'm the godfather to your first child with Alexis" he teased and they laughed. Still teasing Raymond about Alexis.

Nnaeh 😂. Finally I'm at the end of this secondary school stuff. I was even getting tired and bored of the whole thing sef.

The thing is I wanted this book to be a college romance novel or should I call it a university romance though but I felt it would be great if I gave a sneak peak of their secondary school life. I hope you guys didn't find it so boring tho🤓.
