Raymond was so happy to be home again after 3 years. He saw Nathan at a bar where he had stopped to get his mum's favorite chicken pepper soup and suya. He was not happy when he saw Nathan drinking, he was so mad at him. But he understood the impact of having his father at home. The man was so annoying and at this point he hated him with everything in him.
Nathan promised to tell him what was wrong when he got home and he promised himself that he would open up the biggest secret that was eating him up to his younger brother Nathan. Even though he didn't have the heart to tell his mother about it yet, his brother deserved to know what was going on.
He had thought about what Alexis told him on the phone the other day and he realized how much he had hurt his mother when he saw her at home. She was so happy to see him and he didn't realize when tears rolled down his cheeks too. He was never going to leave her like that ever again. He was grateful for Alexis for bringing him back to his senses. His mother doesn't deserve to suffer for the sins his mistake of a father committed. His anger was that Alexis always concluded things. She doesn't know whatever he was passing through, what the problem was so she had no right to yell at him. She shouldn't judge him or yell at him, he respects her and their close relationship and he believes she should respect him too. He had tried calling her to apologise for hanging up the call on her that way but she ignored his call.
The truth is that if he hadn't cut that call he would have said something out of anger. Something he would definitely regret so he avoided that. But guess what?
She never called back after ignoring his calls. Raymond promised himself not to call her or text her. She would have to apologise to him this time. He mustn't be the only one doing the apologizing. And that was why he ignored her that way. He forced himself not to look at her. She was looking as beautiful as ever and he feared that he wouldn't be able to tear his gaze away from her if he looked at her direction.

This part of Maybe I Love you is done and dusted and I'm releasing a new story soonest!
As I had said in the previous chapter. Team AlMond won and that implies that I'll be starting up a book on the love story between RAYMOND & ALEXIS 🤭.
All the characters still remain the same tho. I know there are some characters you never got to meet in this.book but you'll need seeing them very often in the new book. No need to worry cos I'll repost them when necessary.
Here's the book cover guys! I actually made it myself. I don't know if it's so good but that's all I can manage for now until I find someone to help me out.
I'm using this avenue to plead to all of you, anyone that is good at graphics designing and all, could you please help me with a book cover please?
