Mingyu stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the lapels of his crimson suit as he got ready. The deep, rich red tone of the fabric clung to his broad frame, accentuating his imposing build in a way that felt both regal and powerful. He had paired it with a deep V-neck waistcoat of the same shade, subtly layered beneath, showing his chest. The golden jewelry he wore added a striking contrast to the crimson, making him look like something out of a legend.
His skin, already a warm golden hue, seemed to shimmer under the soft lighting of the room. There was something otherworldly about him, as if the moonlight that graced his wolf form had left a permanent glow on his human skin. It gave him an almost ethereal looks, like someone touched by the gods. His slightly long hair was parted and styled effortlessly, the dark strands falling in soft waves that framed his chiseled features. The sharpness of his jawline was balanced by the softness in his eyes.
He glanced at the brooch pinned to his lapel, a small but ornate piece of gold shaped like a crescent moon. It sparkled faintly, a nod to the mark on his wolf form. The brooch, delicate yet easily catching attention, felt like it belonged to him, as if it had always been a part of his being. His cufflinks mirrored the elegance of the brooch-small golden wolves, their eyes set with tiny amber stones that seemed to glow when the light hit them just right.
Every detail of his appearance tonight was intentional, yet effortless. Even in his human form, Mingyu exuded a sense of magic and power.
As he took one last look in the mirror, Mingyu couldn't help but smirk slightly. He knew the kind of attention his appearance would draw tonight, but that didn't matter. He didn't felt attracted to anyone. No Omega was able to catch his attention and he thought no one ever could. Mingyu saw multiple sweet Omegas in wolves realme but he never got excited.
Mingyu reached the party little early so he can leave early. However it was Jackson's party, the party that neither starts dull nor ends dull. The party was already in full swing by the time Mingyu arrived. The farmhouse was lively, in outskirt of forest. Jackson himself was werewolf but his parties involved everyone from both human realm and magical realm. The farmhouse was filled with chatter and laughter as people mingled and music pulsed in the background. Mingyu found himself slowly easing into the atmosphere, joining a group of his friends by the bar. For the first time in what felt like ages, he allowed himself to relax. Meeting Jung kook and Eunwoo, after so long, he felt happy. They both were busy now days just like Mingyu.
"After so long, we can finally relax." Jung kook said drinking alcohol.
"Yeah, the rogues are causing lot of fuss." Mingyu replied.
"I heard lot of things going on near Northern Hills." Eunwoo asked.
"What is going on? How you know?" Mingyu asked little shocked, remembering the rabbit girl injury incident and the weird experience he got this morning.
"Do you see any Alpha or Beta in party?" Jung kook asked raising his eyebrow and continued. "I'm just waiting for announcement of war, so that I can just crush down both Northern Hills and Eastern Forest."
Eunwoo chuckled hearing Jung kook's rebellious words, "That's true. I also want to destroy their bases." He said.
Mingyu didn't knew things were so serious, definitely he could understand why Alpha was so busy lately. Their pack was much bigger than other packs and knowing how considerate Seungcheol was regarding the pack members and villagers, he used to carry entire burden by himself. And when it comes to such things Jihoon and even Soonyoung were much strict than their usual self. Mingyu kept chatting with his both friends sharing the interesting stories but soon they both left to accompany their mate.
