Y/N POV -

You groaned softly, a dull ache pulsing behind your eyes. The events from the previous night felt like a blur, and your head pounded with every effort to remember. All you could recall was the painful sight of Jae hoon with someone else, and after that... nothing.

You blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the bright sunlight streaming in through the window. Slowly, the world around you came into focus. The sound of birds chirping reached your ears, their soft melodies mixing with the peaceful stillness of the morning. The view from the window was breathtaking, a dense, lush forest spread out before you, bathed in golden light. It was the kind of scene you could lose yourself in, calming and serene. A smile tugged at the corner of your lips as you took in the beauty, momentarily forgetting the headache that plagued you.

But something didn't feel right.

Your heart skipped a beat as realization dawned on you. This wasn't your room. The sheets, the unfamiliar furniture, even the distinct scent in the air, it was all foreign. Panic started to bubble in your chest, but before it could fully take hold, your eyes drifted to the other side of the room.

There, curled up like little ball awkwardly on a too-small couch, was a man. A massive figure, his body looked far too large for the space he occupied, yet somehow, he seemed peaceful. His face, despite the uncomfortable position, held a boyish softness. His tan skin, lighter than your own looked like honey, bathed in golden Sunlight. His lips, slightly parted, formed a small pout even in sleep. You stared at him for a moment longer than necessary, feeling an odd mix of curiosity and attraction. His features were striking, strong, yet softened in his slumber.

Your heart raced as you tried to piece together the events that led you here. Who was he? Why were you in this place, in this room with him? You felt a strange sense of calm, despite the obvious confusion. Something about him, even in this vulnerable state, didn't feel dangerous.

But the questions lingered in your mind, and you couldn't shake the unease.

You slowly removed the duvet, relieved to find that you were still in your party dress from the night before. The soft material clung to your body, slightly wrinkled, but still intact. As you shifted, the ache in your head pulsed again, even your body was paining badly but you ignored it, more focused on the need to slip out unnoticed.

Carefully, you swung your legs over the side of the bed, pausing for a moment to glance at the man on the couch. He remained in the same position, his breathing deep and even. You didn't know why, but you felt like you knew him. Grabbing your heels from the floor, you tiptoed across the room, clutching them tightly in your hands to keep them from making any noise.

Your heartbeat quickened as you reached the door, slowly easing it open. Once outside, you breathed a quiet sigh of relief, stepping into the hallway of the massive house. It was huge, more spacious than anything you'd ever been in before. The wood beneath your bare feet was cold but comforting in a strange way, grounding you as you tried to figure out your next move. It felt strange, the house, the surrounding. Vines of colorful flowers were grown even inside the massive wooden house. It looked like some fairytale to roam around the house.

As you descended the stairs, the faint sound of giggles and soft conversations echoed through the hall. It was a stark contrast to the eerie silence you'd felt moments ago. The voices sounded human, familiar in a way, yet the house itself felt anything but ordinary. You paused on the last few steps, listening intently. The laughter carried through the air, blending with the soft clatter of dishes and the murmur of morning routines.
