As Mingyu neared the southern border of the pack, his mind was focused on getting you to safety. His muscles tensed as he shifted his concentration toward the pack, activating the mindlink.

"It's an emergency," Mingyu projected through the link to Gamma Joshua. "Inform Alpha. Gather everyone in the packhouse."

Joshua, though his voice carried a hint of curiosity. "What new thing did you bring with you?" There was something different, something that didn't quite fit the usual chaos, and Joshua could sense it even through the mindlink.

Mingyu didn't offer an explanation. A soft hum of acknowledgment was all he gave before cutting the link.

Understanding the situation, Joshua sprang into action, quickly informing the others. Word spread swiftly through the ranks, and soon, the pack was gathering at pack house. Omegas, Betas, and Gammas alike gathered at the packhouse, their minds alert. The urgency of Mingyu's call rippled through them, leaving only a few lower-ranking wolves to guard the borders.

They didn't know what was coming, but they knew Mingyu wouldn't call without reason. As the packhouse filled with their presence, tension hung in the air, anticipation growing.

As Mingyu drove towards the packhouse, his heart swelled with an unexpected joy. The sight of you, even unconscious, brought him an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. He couldn't wait to introduce you to his packmates, to show them the one who was destined to be his.

However, as Mingyu approached the packhouse, a different atmosphere was settling over the gathered wolves. Their initial excitement was tempered by a growing sense of unease. There was something in the air, a peculiar shift that set them on edge. The atmosphere was charged with an unfamiliar energy, and despite their best efforts, they couldn't quite place what was different.

The packmates exchanged glances, their curiosity heightened as they tried recognise the strange sensation. Some of the wolves, particularly those more sensitive to changes in their environment, could sense that something significant was approaching, but they were unable to pinpoint exactly what it was.

Alpha Seungcheol, whose senses were more acute than anyone else's, immediately detected the presence of a human. His eyes narrowed, a mix of anger and disbelief flashing across his face.

"He brought a human," Seungcheol's voice was a low growl. The words carried a weight of authority and irritation.

The words that seemed to set wildfire with pack members. Whispers turned into murmurs, and murmurs quickly escalated into voices. The pack's dissatisfaction was evident as they exchanged glances and began voicing their concerns.

"Is he out of his mind?" Beta Woozi snapped. "Bringing a human here, after all we work to protect ourselves from those humans?"

"Does he have any idea of the risk this poses?" Minghao growled, his voice filled with frustration. "We've always kept humans out for a reason. They're a liability."

"Mingyu always brings trouble," omega Yuri muttered. "First all those creatures, now this. What is he thinking?"

Amidst the rising chaos, Alpha tried to assert control. He raised his voice above the din, his tone firm and commanding. "Enough! Silence!" The pack gradually quieted, though the undercurrent of tension remained. Soon Mingyu entered inside pack house with you in his hold bridal style.

The pack members' whispers grew louder as they realized Mingyu had really brought a human into their midst. Alpha's stern gaze met Mingyu's, his voice cutting through the murmur.
