It was still very early in morning when Mingyu woke up. His arm was still draped around you, your body nestled comfortably against his chest. Indeed it was the best sleep he ever got. He glanced down at your peaceful face, watching how your lashes fluttered slightly with each breath.
"Hey... wake up," Mingyu whispered softly, his voice barely above a murmur as his large hand gently rubbed your shoulder.
You groaned in response, scrunching up your face in protest, pulling the blanket over your head. "Five more minutes..." you mumbled sleepily, clearly not ready to face the day.
Mingyu chuckled softly, amused by your resistance. "No, sweetheart. You need to get up now, you can sleep later." he said with a teasing tone to his voice, lightly tugging the blanket down from your face.
You groaned again, turning over to face away from him, burying your face into the pillow. "Go away, Ivy... I'm still sleeping," you muttered, trying to ignore him.
He sighed dramatically, shaking his head clearly confused. "Who's Ivy, bud?" he asked, making you clutch on the blanket realising you weren't sleeping in your home. "We have to go, remember?"
"My Eonnie." you mumbled, still clinging to your last few moments of sleep.
Mingyu let out a low, playful growl, leaning down so that his lips were near your ear. "Come on, lazy," he teased, his breath warm against your skin. "Don't make me carry you again."
That seemed to stir something in you, and you groaned louder, finally pulling the blanket off your face. "Fine! I'm up," you said, eyes still half-closed as you sat up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. You shot him a glare, clearly not pleased about being woken up so early.
Mingyu stood up from the bed and stretched his large frame. "Trust me, you'll thank me later." He reached out a hand to help you up, his expression softening a little. "Come on. We've to visit treehouse."
Though still annoyed, you couldn't help but feel a tiny bit curious, and maybe even slightly touched by the excitement in his voice. Reluctantly, you placed your hand in his, letting him pull you out of bed.
As Mingyu led you through the dense forest, the scenery around you began to change. The air grew cooler, filled with the fresh scent of woods and damp earth enhancing Mingyu's Lavender scent even more making you calm. You walked in silence for a while, taking in the wild beauty that surrounded you, though you were still grumpy about being woken up so early. The further you went, the more breathtaking the landscape became.
Suddenly, as you emerged from a thick cluster of trees, your breath caught in your throat. In front of you stood the most stunning view you had ever seen. A crystal-clear river sparkled in the early morning glow, its gentle current flowing serenely. Nearby, a towering treehouse sat nestled among the trees, its wooden beams blending naturally into the forest, as if it had always been there. The craftsmanship was exquisite, with large windows and balcony that seemed to invite the light and beauty of the forest inside. Just like pack house veins of small colourful flowers decorated whole tree house.
But it wasn't just the treehouse that left you in awe, it was the waterfall in the distance. The water cascaded down the steep cliffs, its origins hidden far above in the Hills that stood before. so high you couldn't even see the top, no matter how much you craned your neck. A thick, ethereal mist veiled the upper parts of the falls, giving it a mystical, almost otherworldly appearance.
You stood frozen in place, completely mesmerized by the sight. The wild beauty was overwhelming, untamed.
Mingyu turned to look at you, noticing the awe written across your face. His lips curved into a gentle smile, pleased with your reaction. "It's something, isn't it?" he asked softly, his voice breaking the silence.
