Mingyu told you to stay in room and rest while the breakfast was being prepared. You were surprised to see that Omega Xue came to call you for breakfast. As you walked into the dining area, still feeling the lingering peace from the morning under Mist Veil, your mood instantly shifted. Sitting beside Mingyu, in the chair that had become yours in recent days, was an unfamiliar girl. She looked comfortable, chatting away with him, her laughter filling the room. Your eyes narrowed, not out of jealousy, but out of confusion. Who was she?

The girl had a playful energy about her, her eyes bright and her movements lively-almost like a rabbit, quick and full of life. Her hand lightly brushed against Mingyu's arm as she laughed while speaking, and you felt your heart tighten a little.

Mingyu noticed you standing in the doorway and waved you over with a smile, but there was something about the situation that felt... off. You walked over slowly, trying to keep your expression neutral, even though a slight knot formed in your stomach.

"This is Bora," Mingyu said, noticing your gaze. "She's a rabbit shifter. I rescued her a while back."

Bora smiled brightly at you, extending her hand. "Nice to meet you! Who is she?" She asked leaning more into Mingyu and you seriously felt some switches in you flipped.

You took her hand cautiously, trying not to show too much hesitation. "Nice to meet you too," you said, your voice a little stiff.

"She's my mate." Mingyu beamed looking at you.

She seemed friendly enough, but the sight of her sitting in your chair next to Mingyu still didn't sit well with you. You couldn't help but wonder why she was there, and why she was so close to Mingyu.

As you quietly sit next to Luna Sakura, your eyes flicker to Mingyu, who seemed awkward and out of place beside the rabbit shifter, Bora. Her bubbly and carefree personality filled the room as she talked excitedly with everyone. Her laughter ringed out, and while it should be a pleasant sound, it only make you feel more withdrawn. You don't understand why a sense of jealousy flared in your chest. Yet, you sit in silence, your hands fiddling with your food, trying to make sense of these unfamiliar feelings bubbling inside you.

Luna Sakura, sensing your tension, gently placed her hand on yours, offering a warm smile. "Don't worry." she whispered quietly, her eyes kind and knowing. You nod slightly, still stealing glances at Mingyu. Every time Bora said something, your chest tightened a little more, even though you're not quite sure what to do about it.

"Gamma is so strong!" Bora's voice was sugary sweet as she leaned in closer, practically draping herself over his arm. "I mean, he literally saved me near the northern border."

Mingyu shifted uncomfortably in his seat, not quite meeting her gaze. "It's not like that" he said.

You noticed how his entire body seemed to tense under Bora's attention. She giggled, lightly touching his arm again, and you felt a stab of irritation.

"You're so modest," she cooed, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Bet you're the strongest in the whole pack, aren't you?"

Mingyu coughed awkwardly, pulling his arm away from her subtle grasp. "I wouldn't say that, with Alpha here no one else is strong." he muttered, eyes flicking toward you briefly.

You bit the inside of your cheek, feeling the jealousy simmering even though you tried to push it down. Bora was everything you weren't, outgoing, forward, and clearly comfortable laying on the charm. You could only sit there, silently fuming, watching her laugh at every little thing.
