Another month passed away. Mingyu has became more affectionate towards you. He was a loving person always ready to give you the love and attention you craved. You barely had to lift your finger for anything, you wanted to eat something no problem Mingyu would cook for you, he fed you well and made sure you remain hydrated, you wanted to have something Mingyu would provide you without hesitation, your daily chorus, absolutely done by him. He didn't gave you chance to complain about anything. Mingyu worshipped you just for existing and made you always feel special. Just sitting around and getting spoiled by him has became your new routine.

However since the heat incident happened, Mingyu became more clingy towards you. It's not like he wasn't clingy in the first place but that increased nowadays. He stick to your side like glue. He more often started roaming in the bedroom shirtless just in sweat pant, making you go crazy. He was well built and all those muscles and abs on display with his sun kissed tan skin made you feel hot. It became even more hard to resist when Mingyu cuddled with you at night. His hard muscles pressed against you deliciously. The short sexy satin nighty you wore barely did anything not to feel his hard and hot body against you. His body radiated heat making you all hot and needy. Mingyu's big and strong hands wrapped around your ribcage and waist tightly made you imagine the dirtiest things. Mingyu's earlier innocent behavior drastically changed. The way his big hands roamed against your back whenever you were with pack members or the way his soft lips rubbed against your neck and cheek in sleep have you loosing your mind. Even in his wolf form when on night patrol with him, he would cling to you, playfully lick your neck and nuzzle you here and there. You felt like your body was on fire with those small gesture of him and you felt him smirking against you whenever you tried to shift your body in such situations.

That what you hated most, even though Mingyu was all sweet and loving there was this side. He was so cocky and cruel. The real Kim Mingyu, so full of himself and arrogant when time came. Initially you didn't noticed it but recently you found out about it. You both still quarreled and sometimes he even made you cry because of his sharp mouth and teasing nature, not showing mercy. You were mean and brat matching with him but sometimes you also got overwhelmed by his dominant presence. Some serious things were absolute joke for him, like Bora or other Omega's trying to flirt with him weren't the big deal in his eyes. However those things had worse effect on you. He knew he was handsome and he did showed off and even though you knew he was one hundred percent loyal to you, you just couldn't stand the fact that some random pretty girl always tried to throw herself toward him and Mingyu didn't tried to resist. He didn't made any kind of move but he didn't even shooed them, always smiling, always kind to them. This thing made your blood boil. 'Can't do anything about it, baby. It's not my fault that they get attracted.' has became his constant answer. It made your blood boil and was the sole reason why you didn't allowed him to mark you or even kiss you. You wanted to wait more and think thoroughly.

This morning the pack house was alive as the breakfast was going on. Mingyu was insisting you to eat more even though you were full. You kept whining and resisting but Mingyu didn't listened at all. However suddenly a small soldier wolf Samuel dashed in, breathless and frantic, reporting to Alpha that a rogue attack had broken out near the southern border, right where the village sat nestled in the forest and that the condition there was really bad.

Without hesitation, Alpha's commanding voice rang out, "To the southern border, all of you. Protect the village!"

Every wolf in the pack immediately prepared to leave, they had to protect their home and the innocents there, even if it meant temporarily leaving their loved ones behind.

Mingyu turned to you, worry visible deeply on to his face. His fingers lingered over yours, not quite willing to let go. "Stay here and keep safe. I don't want you in any danger," he said, his voice thick with a mix of reluctance and duty.
