The sound of the horses hooves trotting can be heard even inside the carriage.
An extravagant looking carriage went through the capital, on its way to the palace.
Inside the carriage, a small girl with a green color hair sat comfortably with a bored look.
The man infront of her, having the same hair color as her, speak with a gentle smile.
"Aren't you excited my dear?"
"No, I'm not."
"Uh..."
The father look at his daughter with a confused and troubled look.
Ever since this morning, she looks so bored and unhappy about something.
But she didn't tell anyone what she's unhappy about.
'Is it because I told her she will be the young prince' s playmate today?'
The father look at his daughter with a guilty look, afraid that he might've anger his daughter with this shocking news last night.
On the contrary, Emerald who was sitting there with a grim expression, is thinking about something else.
'I can't find Adam at all even with the help of the elementals! This is so frustrating!'
She let out a sigh as she started to scowl at this frustratingly slow search.
Even after searching for Adam all night with the help of the elementals, there's not much result.
Some of the elementals did speculate last night that Adam is probably in the palace ground, a place that is restricted to most beings including the elementals.
Since they are unable to find him around the empire, that is the only place that they could only think about.
Emerald didn't want to believe that, but she does also have her suspicion.
But the possibility is quite low too.

"Does the Prince have interest in him too?"
"Sorry?"
"It's nothing father."
The duke look at his daughter with mild confusion, wondering what she's mumbling about.
He could only hear some part of her mumbling just now..
'The prince and interest... Is she wondering if the young prince have someone he's interested in?'
Something snap in the duke and his face turned pale.
'No no no, my daughter can't marry the prince. I heard that boy have something wrong with his head. Being the prince playmate is already enough!'
A sense of crisis started to overwhelmed the misunderstood Duke.
Meanwhile the daughter just mind her own business while thinking of her dear lover.

"Raise yourself."
The duke and his daughter slowly raise themselves and look up at the Prince Consort and the little Crown prince.
As usual, the Prince Consort greet his guests with his famous trait that he's known for. A soft looking face and a gentle smile.
