Exams
Unfortunately, the households search for Baria was placed on hold due to the boys upcoming exams. Denki ended up studying with Bakugou, Kirishima, Sero and Mina at the school's university. Hitoshi and Neito had decided to study alone citing that other people tended to be distracting. Some of the kids in middle school were also in exam season so home tutoring was also in motion although that responsibility fell mostly on Sora, Souta, Youta and Aina.
The main topic studied for the written portion of the boys exams were Math, English (Second language), Japanese (Home language), Geography (It's important to know as a hero), Ethics and Laws (Also important to know as a hero), History, Life science and physical science The study weeks were divided up into three section academic study days, physical training days and rest days. This was so that the mind had time to absorb what was being studied without overtaxing it and so that the body had time to repair any strained muscle fibres from training while also allowing for quality time to be spent with the rest of the family.

The boys were confident about their work when they exited the exams rooms. While none of the exams were a breeze, this was a hero school after all, they were confident that they had at the very least passed. However, they now had to prepare for the practical exam. This combined with their written exam marks would determine if they would participate in the training camp arranged by the school.
Supposedly, the exam would consist of the same robots that the students faced during the entrance exam and the sports festival. Hitoshi pointed out that Yuuei was unlikely to do such a thing as it was an exam rather than a training exercise. All information and training that they had done during the semester was going to be tested. To do such a thing, actual people were needed to properly test the adaptability and rescue techniques of the students had learned. Neito agreed but leaned more towards the actual teachers being the opponents, and with Principal Nezu and Aizawa in mind, it was likely that the opponent was going to be a poor match up with the students.
Hitoshi theorised that due to Denki's ADHD and immature personality, he was likely going to be paired up with someone like him. Most likely one Mina Ashido, whose friendly demeanour and relatively poor strategy making would provide a unique opportunity for both. Both were more likely to face an opponent in person and had no skills in stealth. This meant that they were going to be up against someone who would not be required to come into contact with either of them in order to test. Meaning they were likely to be against Principal Nezu, Aizawa himself, Power Loader or even Cementoss as Nezu and Power Loader can rely on machines to test them, and the final two render Mina and Denki's quirks null in battle.
Hitoshi wasn't entirely certain who he would be paired with, but it was likely that he would be up against either Present Mic or Snipe. Present mic was partially deaf, and Snipe would often be out of hearing range thus both would render his quirk irrelevant. Neito was also likely to face an opponent that was long range however he was just as likely to face up with someone whose quirk he would not be able to easily copy such as Thirteen.
Unfortunately, there was no way of knowing who exactly the were going against until the exam. Thus, the boys had nothing to do for the next 3 days will the venue was being arranged. The best possible thing they could do was to rest or otherwise risk overstraining their muscles and tearing muscle fibres. Additionally, they could now focus on the family. It would not do to return to worrying over the missing Baria. There was nothing they could do for her while the exams were ongoing.

On the day of the practical examination, the students were paired up with each other. As Hitoshi predicted, Denki ended up paired with Mina Ashido. Hitoshi was paired with a more ideal match, Neito. Looking closely at the board Hitoshi noted the other Class 1-A match ups. Kirishima and Sato, Bakugou and Midoriya (yikes, that is not going to go well), Aoyama and Uraraka, Todoroki and Momo and so on. Each combination could go very well together or could completely ruin their chances of passing. Kirishima and Sato being prime examples of this. Kirishima and Sato can use a battering ram type technique or even an offense/defence manoeuvre which would play on each other's strengths. Unfortunately, Kirishima hype man attitude could rope Sato into thinking illogically, such as charging on ahead without a proper plan. The two would end up over working themselves with little gain.
Bakugou and Midoriya were rather self-explanatory on how their exam would go. Hitoshi expected a lot of swearing, Bakugou going off on Midoriya. Midoriya would probably find someway to get Bakugou to co-operate, likely with manipulations, and the finally pass with bruises and broken bones.
Denki's exam was one of the first exams conducted and it went more or less how Hitoshi thought it would. Needless to say, he and Mina ended up against Nezu resulting in a large amount of screaming and very few breaks to create a strategy. That is to say all the two really did was run screaming as Principal Nezu used the construction crane within the venue to collapse the building around them. At one point or another Denki attempted to locate the crane, which he did successfully. The issue came in when attempting to reach the crane and capture the chimera. The rubble from the building created a blockage preventing Denki or Mina from getting close, additionally there was still the issue of the Principal trying to chase the two out via more collapsing buildings. There truly was no way for the two to get close nor could the y get to the gate. By the time the exam finished, both Denki and Mina were exhausted from running and neither had gotten within 10 metres of the chimera. Thus, they had both failed the exam.
When it came to Hitoshi and Neitos turn, they were put up against Snipe. Which was quite disadvantageous. Both of them were close range combatants and Neito needed to copy either Hitoshi's quirk or Snipes. One was easier than the other, but both were doable. The two hide in one of the venues building, a room that without any windows where snipe would not be able to shoot them easily. Rubber bullets they may be, but they still hurt. A strategy was developed where the two split up. The use of speakers and variously placed microphones were going to be used in order to create the illusion of movement. The speakers will be in the opposite area of the microphone and both Hitoshi and Neito would be moving between the various microphones. A giant game of Marco-polo was at hand.
Unfortunately, Snipe was not a long-distance pro-hero for nothing. Apparently, a villain had attempted such a trick on him before. So, while the two managed to avoid the hero for over half the time limit, they were neither able to reach the gate, again rubber bullets hurt, nor were they able to capture the hero. The man had learnt several types of martial arts to defend should someone get the jump on him as Neito had learnt the hard way. Thus, the two had ultimately failed the physical exam.

Hi Lovies, sorry that this chapter is rather curt but I was not going into detailed about the exams as that would take a while. Thus, I'm giving a summary kind of chapter about the process. Hopefully you all understand how the exams progressed. The only real difference from cannon is that there is no mineta or the other person i removed. Their would have been partners end up paired together.
Have a good time lovies
