Soobin laid awake in bed, he could feel Kangwoo's arms around him. A tear fell from his eye and he quickly wiped it away. He tried to sit up but Kangwoo tightened his grip and pulled him back to lay down."What are you doing Soobin?"
"I just want something to drink."
"I'll come with you."
He didn't argue and Kangwoo followed him. Yeonjun was in the kitchen making coffee. Soobin walked over to get water.
"He knows." Yeonjun whispered before walking away as Kangwoo walked over.
Soobin's heart dropped to his stomach. He wanted to cry but he kept it together. He knew? He didn't even question what he was talking about because it could only mean one thing. He knew about what they had been doing, the sneaking around, he knew.
"Everything okay?" Kangwoo asked as he leaned against the fridge, watching him.
Soobin gave him a fake smile and nodded. "I'm okay." He got some water and went back to their room.
He glanced over his shoulder at Yeonjun as Kangwoo closed the door behind them.
"Soobinnie, come lay down with me."
Soobin swallowed but followed him and laid down. Kangwoo reached up and touched his face, rubbing his thumb against his cheek under his eye.
"I missed you a lot."
"...Kangwoo hyung...I'm sorry." He broke down in tears. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen and I never wanted to upset you or hurt you and I regretted it so much I swear!"
"Shhhh." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Ohhh Soobinnie why are you crying so much? Did you cry this much with Yeonjun?"
"Kangwoo–"
He covered his mouth roughly and got on top of him. Soobin cried more but his cries were muffled by his hand. He tried pushing him away but Kangwoo was much stronger than he was.
"Don't do that Soobinnie please. I don't get it, why him? Why?"
Soobin shook his head and Kangwoo seemed to stare right through him.
"You slept with him right?" He shook his head again. "Don't lie to me. Why are you lying?" Soobin cried harder, making himself feel even more exhausted. "I'm gonna uncover your mouth, be good okay?"
He slowly uncovered his mouth and Soobin hiccuped.
"Kangwoo I'm sorry." He cried gently. "You're scaring me, please..."
He continued to stare at him blankly.
"Soobin, you're not gonna leave me for him are you? You don't even know him that well. He went to jail you know, he has a short temper and he could hurt you. He's a man whore, did you know that? I bet you didn't. He hasn't told you anything about his past did he? He's such a liar and you're willing to leave me for him."
Soobin didn't say anything. He just closed his eyes and turned his head away from him only for Kangwoo to grab his face and turn it back.
"He's dangerous Soobinnie, you should listen to me. He has an ex, he goes back to him all the time. He's probably already fucked him while fucking you too."
"You're lying!" Soobin yelled and tried to push him away. "Get away from me!"
"Soobin!" Yeonjun yelled from the other side of the door and started banging on it. "Kangwoo I swear to God open this fucking door!"
Kangwoo stared down at Soobin. Drowning out the yells and the banging on the door.
"There's a lot I can do to you but even more to him. You like him don't you?" Soobin slowly nodded. "Love him?" He didn't answer. "...then make sure you do what I say." He nodded again. "Good boy. Now go calm him down because if he breaks the door I'll kill him."
He let's Soobin stand up and he quickly walked to the door unlocking and opening it. Yeonjun is looking at him, sweat running down his face and his eyes wide, full of fear and worry. He's breathing heavily and Soobin wants to hug him and kiss him but he stares at him, on the brink of tears and tells him...
"I'm okay, please leave us alone." His voice cracking as he speaks to him.
Yeonjun looks confused. "What? Did he hurt you?" He went to touch him but Soobin steps back a little. "Soobin–"
"I'm fine." He says.
Please just go. He mouths.
Yeonjun takes one more look at him before slowly stepping back from the door and Soobin closed and locked it once more. He stood there for several seconds after the door closed. He was conflicted.
He wanted to hurt Kangwoo. Really hurt him, but if someone were to call the police he would have a hard time fighting the case in court. He already had a record.
He was baiting him.
Then he heard it. The cries mixed with his gentle moans, a sound he knew too well. A sound that normally would turn him on but now left his blood running cold. He could feel himself getting angry.
He was baiting him.
What if he took the bait?
The thought of Kangwoo touching him knowing how much he hated it made him sick. He didn't know how much of this he could take, he was going to get help from someone. Anyone. He didn't care, Soobin was worth everything, maybe his lies and secrets that were fighting to escape wouldn't mean anything to Soobin if he heard them. He was willing to take that chance if it meant he would be safe.
Even if he were to leave him.
Yeonjun teared up at the thought of hurting him even more on top of everything. He loved Soobin so much it hurt to think about it so he tried not to. He went to his room and then to the bathroom, he gripped the sink and then punched the mirror out of a fit of rage. He cut his hand, crimson droplets decorating the white tiled floor.
Yeonjun was losing and he couldn't stand it.
