"Jin hyung hi." Soobin said as he cleaned up while talking on the phone with his cousin.

"Binnie hey, how are you?"

"I'm doing good. I wasn't expecting you to call."

"Well you don't really call home now do you? You should call more and stop being so busy. I hope you're eating and resting. Is Kangwoo taking care of you?"

Soobin's heart skipped at the mention of his name and not in a good way.

"Yeah of course."

The line got silent.

"Hyung?"

"Soobin. Be honest with me. I need complete honesty from you right now."

"...I need to use a judgment free card."

"Okay, I'm listening."

And Soobin sat down and told him everything. How he was feeling, what's been happening between him and Kangwoo these past few months not weeks. It had been going on longer than when Yeonjun arrived. Then he found himself talking about Yeonjun for the rest of the time and how much they fought and how much he couldn't stand him.

When he was done Jin hummed.

"I understand."

Jin always wanted Soobin to feel comfortable talking to him. So ever since he was a kid they would have judgement free talks where all Jin did was listen and didn't give advice if Soobin didn't want it. They were close because of their talks.

"I need...advice."

"Okay. Kangwoo...I know you love him but he's not good for you. I don't like that he doesn't take care of you and makes you do everything. And as for Yeonjun, I think you're judging too quickly instead of trying to get to know him. The situation you're in, isn't the best one but it sounds to me that Yeonjun is willing to be a friend."

He was right. Soobin did judge Yeonjun very quickly. From the tattoos to the obnoxiously loud sex he has and the clear attitude problem. But Yeonjun had qualities he over looked, like the fact that he stopped smoking in the house, he cleaned up the kitchen from time to time, and organized the shoes by the door.

He was doing little things that went unnoticed until now and Soobin didn't even thank him for it. It was way more than Kangwoo had ever done.

"Thank you Jin hyung." The front door opened and Yeonjun walked in toeing off his shoes. "I have to go. I'll call you again tomorrow I promise."

"I'll hold you to it."

They hung up and Soobin bit his lip, playing with his lip ring like he already did when he was nervous, but now the tattooed male was walking to his room and Soobin had to say something.

"Yeonjun."

Yeonjun didn't say anything in response but he did stop in front of his door and waited with his back facing him.

'So he wants to talk.' Soobin thought to himself.

"Yeonjun...about the other day. I snapped at you and I shouldn't have. You've been nice...in a weird way. We bicker but I do enjoy your company and you help out a lot more than Kangwoo ever has. I've been a jerk and I shouldn't have treated you so poorly. I'm sorry."

It was silent and Soobin stood there waiting for a response from him, and when he still hadn't said anything, he began to lose what little confidence in this conversation he had.

"I shouldn't have bothered you." His voice small as he turned to go to his own room.

"I won't forgive you so easily." His voice making Soobin stop in his tracks. He turned and Yeonjun was staring at him with a small smirk plastered on his lips. Normally Soobin would find it annoying but at this moment he was happy Yeonjun didn't hate him.

"What do you want me to do?" Soobin asked, now fully facing him.

"There's a party tonight and I need a plus one. You're coming with me."

"Me? But what about your other friends?"

"They already have plus ones."

"I've never actually been to a-"

"Good." He looked at the time. "Let me see what you have to wear." He walked towards him and Soobin moved out of the way as he walked into his bedroom.

"W-Wait a second." Yeonjun went into the closet. "Yeonjun what's wrong with what I'm wearing now?"

Yeonjun looked him up and down. "You just look normal. You need to dress up." He took out a black crop top and then a light blue Jean jacket . "This." He tossed it at him and Soobin caught it. "And this." He tossed some light jeans and Soobin caught those as well.

"This is a little-"

"Relax." Yeonjun stared at him. "You don't need make up so don't waste your time on it." Soobin just blinked at him. "We'll leave here at 7, it's about an hour drive."

He left his room and Soobin stared down at the clothes. Partying with Yeonjun? He wouldn't have imagined being in this situation at all but it had been a while since he's been out and it would be nice to have a drink or two, dance, and actually meet people.

When 7 rolled around Yeonjun was waiting by the door for Soobin. He stepped out of his room while on the phone and Yeonjun slowly looked at him from head to toe. When he looked at his face he could see the annoyance on it.

"So you're telling me that your job which was supposed to be an at home job is sending you out of town for five days? What about our date night and you know I really wanted to go to the aquarium with you this weekend...I'm-I'm not complaining I just wish you'd tell me these things sooner I could've scheduled better...Kangwoo that's not what I mean...but I-yes...you're right I'm sorry."

Soobin slowly looked up at Yeonjun who quickly looked away and tried to pretend he wasn't listening to their conversation.

"...have fun...bye I love-" Soobin sighed and lowered the phone from his ear. "You."

He walked over and just looked at Yeonjun in a way that told him everything.

"Ready to have fun?"

He gave him a small smile and nodded. "Mhm."
