Soobin was a bartender, he could hold his liquors. He wasn't a drug user so of course when the random guy he took a drink from slipped something in his cup, that would have him acting this way. Whatever it was Soobin felt like he was floating. Any pain he felt emotionally and mentally was gone. The music seemed to go into his veins too because he had been dancing nonstop. Singing to the music, hands thrown over Yeonjun's shoulders but it wasn't anything to worry about it. They were having fun and other than the fact that Soobin was high, Yeonjun was actually having fun at a party too.

Yeonjun leaned into his ear, pulling him closer by his hips in the process. "Are you alright?" He asked over the music.

Soobin gave him a dimpled smile. "Are you worried about me?"

"Well knowing that you don't do drugs and then you getting drugged one would say that I may be a little worried."

His answer was met with giggles from Soobin who leaned into his ear. "You're cute when you're worried about me."

Yeonjun had stopped dancing for a moment, registering what he had just said before he smirked and started dancing with him again.

"Is that the only time I'm cute?"

Soobin started thinking. "Maybe."

"Maybe?"

"You're not really cute. People call me cute." He said while pointing to himself. "But you...you're really..." his voice faded as he stared at him. "...hot."

Yeonjun laughed and Soobin slapped his shoulder.

"Don't laugh!"

"I'm sorry. You're just really cute."

"Kangwoo doesn't think so."

"I'm not Kangwoo."

Soobin stared at him and Yeonjun stared back. That's when his ears started to ring and his focus started to drift. The way he was looking at him sent shivers down his spine and it was obvious every time he looked at his lip ring which made Soobin subconsciously bite it out of nervousness.

"Don't do that."

"...do what?"

Yeonjun didn't say anything and turned his head away from him.

"What do you think of me Yeonjun?"

He looked at him, his eyes super dilated and his lips in this cute pout. He wouldn't remember any of this tomorrow.

"...I think you need to be properly taken care of." They had stopped dancing a while ago and now they were just standing close together. Yeonjun's hands still on his hips and Soobin's arms still around his shoulders.

"What do you mean? Kangwoo does take care-"

"No." He said firmly. Looking almost angry at Soobin for saying that. "He doesn't. Kangwoo...he isn't a good person not like you. You shouldn't trust him. Plus, what he does is the bare minimum. Just because he pays rent doesn't make him the world's best boyfriend. You two barely talk, he doesn't take you on dates or spends time with you, and he can't even fuck you correctly."

Soobin's eyebrows furrowed and he shook his head. "Kangwoo loves me."

"No he doesn't."

This made Soobin angry as he let go of him. "You don't even know what you're talking about!" He snapped at him as he stumbled back, pushing him away. "You could never understand what we have! He does love me!"

"If you call this love then you really know nothing." Yeonjun responded, his voice sounding a lot more harsh than he intended.

"You're wrong." Soobin sniffled as the heavy tears fell from his eyes. "You're wrong about him."

Yeonjun quickly relaxed and mentally beat himself up. "Soobin I-"

Before he could apologize Soobin stormed off, wobbling towards the front door still a bit disoriented by whatever was slipped into his drink. When he opened it a hand pushed it back closed and Soobin turned around seeing Yeonjun. His hand still up keeping the door closed behind him.

They were close. Too close.

"Let me leave."

Yeonjun didn't say anything but his look did. His face a mix of sympathy, sadness, and worry. Maybe regret but Soobin didn't want to talk to him right now. Him still being under the influence, Yeonjun wouldn't let him out of his sight. From the moment they got here he noticed the eyes that Soobin didn't. An environment like this one wasn't safe for him and he regretted bringing him.

Soobin looked away from him and Yeonjun grabbed his face. Gently cupping his chin and turning his face back to him, his thumb grazed his bottom lip and his other hand stayed on the door as if Soobin was still trying to leave. He had forgotten about it already, because Soobin was playing with his lip ring gently grazing his thumb over it, and they were so close he could smell his rich, savory cologne with a mix of cigarettes.

He felt himself stop breathing. He felt like Yeonjun was going to do something and he found himself waiting.

"You should let me show you." He says breaking their silence, his eyes still on his lip ring.

"Show...me what?" He asked slowly.

His eyes slowly met his before he said. "What it's like to be properly taken care of."

Soobin swallowed and didn't know what to say, but this was too much. They were too close and it felt like Yeonjun kept getting closer.

"I want to go home."

And just like that, whatever moment was there was ruined.

Yeonjun stared at him before stepping back letting his hand slide down from the door.

"Okay."

He stared at him and Soobin snapped out of it. He turned around and opened the door quickly walking to the car. He felt sober enough now to almost break out into a run. The cool fresh air felt amazing as it played on his skin. They got in the car and the entire drive home was in silence especially since Soobin had fallen asleep.

So he didn't see all the stolen glances Yeonjun took and he didn't hear any of the things the man said to him. Things he was too scared to say to him while he was awake.
