"GENTLEMEN, LADIES, THIS is your first hop. The clock is ticking, and as of now, we are keeping score."
Star and Storm were together on their plane and like most of the times Rooster was their wingman. At least for today they could keep their usual formation.
"Do you see him, Storm?", Star asked him as she looked around.
"No, I can't find him anywhere", Storm replied desperately trying to find him.
"Heads up, kids", they heard Hawk say through the radio and suddenly he passed right between them and Rooster.
"Fuck!", Rooster exclaimed as they both moved their planes to the side before Hawk could hit them.
"Show me what you got", they heard Hawk say.
Game on.
Star didn't waste time to go after him, Rooster quickly behind her.
"Damn, he's fast", Storm said as they watched Hawk ahead of them.
"But I'm faster", Star said with a confident voice and within seconds she had almost reached him. But when he noticed, Hawk went down and before they knew it he passed under them and went behind them.
"Fuck! That son of a bitch! He's behind us. Go, go, go!", Storm shouted and Star immediately did as he said.
"Where are you, Rooster?", Star asked him as she flew as fast as she could trying not to let Hawk get a good hit on her.
"I'm right here", she heard him say as he appeared behind Hawk.
"Can you get a good hit on him?", she asked him as she kept flying as fast as she could.
"He's moving too much", Rooster told her with a frustrated grunt.
"Alright, I got an idea. Just trust me on this okay?", she asked him, hoping that he would understand what she wanted to do.
"Alright, I always trust you", she heard him say and that was all she needed.
Suddenly she made a harsh turn to the right and it was so sudden that Hawk wasn't so quick to follow her. As she turned she moved her plane upside down and began to move back.
"You want us to get in trouble on the first day?", Storm asked her with a chuckle.
"Come on, it's fun", Star replied with a smirk and just as she said that she managed to go right over Hawk who had been too late to react.
Hawk looked up at them with a pissed off look. The two twins smirked at him and brought up their middle finger to him to which he shook his head.
Then, before he could do anything else he heard a beeping noise and looked back down with a frown.
"You're dead, sir", he heard Rooster through the radio and let out a surprised chuckle.
"Go back to the hard deck, now", they heard him say, he was pissed off but still quite surprised.
"Yes, sir", Storm replied chuckling.

The three were waiting outside Hawk's office. They were nervous but still held their head high. They had won after all. They waited for a while more before Hawk opened the door and told them to get in.
They walked inside standing straight and holding their head up high while Hawk went behind his desk.
"Lieutenants, you had a hell of a first day. I haven't seen a pilot go inverted in a long time. You risked a lot, it was pretty reckless. So, why? Why did you do it?", he asked them, directing his question to Emily.
"I trusted my wingman, sir. And we have done it before", Emily replied looking straight ahead.
"You know you both remind me a lot of your father. Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell, right?", he asked the twins and the two clenched their jaws at that. "You're just as good as he was, maybe even better. But you're also dangerous, reckless, which someone could mistake for confidence. But not me. But I have to admit that I've never seen someone fly like you three. You've all got potential, you know how to work as a team and you're talented. You're the only ones that won today."
"Thank you, sir", Bradley said still keeping his head high.
"Just don't keep doing shit like what you did today, or I'll have to take consequences", Hawk warned them.
"Yes, sir", Logan replied keeping his posture straight.
"Dismissed", Hawk simply finally said and they didn't waste time to get out of the office. As they closed the door behind them they couldn't help but laugh excitedly. They were the only ones that had one that day.
"I thought it was gonna be worse", Bradley said when they stopped laughing.
"Worse? I thought they were gonna kick us out of here", Logan said still laughing.
"Well, at least it was worth it", Emily shrugged with a smirk on her face. Maybe they were dangerous and reckless, but they were really damn good.
