EMILY WAS SITTING beside Natasha outside Logan's room in the hospital. They had been there for a while now after Emily had been checked over. The two brunette women had hugged each other tightly when they saw each other. Everyone had come by even just to be there for her, even Jake.
But the one person she wanted there hadn't come. She hadn't even heard from Bradley ever since the incident. She needed him the most now and he wasn't there. Natasha had kept repeating that he was going to come soon, but he had still never showed up or made a call.
Suddenly a doctor got out from Logan's room and the two women immediately stood up.
"He's awake", as the doctor pronounced those words the two let out a sigh of relief. "He's still very weak, but he's going to be as good as new in a few days. You can see him now."
"Thank you", Emily told him truthfully and the doctor simply nodded with a smile before leaving. The two immediately opened the door to Logan's hospital room and walked inside, closing it behind them.
"Hey, guys", Logan said with a weak smile. He was lying in the hospital bed wearing the hospital gown with a bandage around his head.
The two didn't waste time to run to him and hug him tightly, tears of joy and relief falling from their eyes. He hugged them back as much as he could until he let out a grunt.
"Too tight. Can't breathe", he muttered with a strained voice and they quickly pulled away laughing through the tears.
"Don't ever do that again! You scared the shit out of us", Natasha playfully told him as she wiped her tears away.
