"WE'RE GOING TO change a few things today", Hawk told the pilots as they were in their class.
It had been two weeks since they had gotten to Top Gun and Logan and Emily had been at the top of the list the whole time, Bradley right behind them followed by Jake and Natasha.
As Hawk pronounced those words Emily looked at Bradley who sat beside her and Logan who sat behind her next to Natasha. The two had gotten really close in those two weeks.
"We're going to create new formations. You'll need to learn how to work with anyone, even the ones you don't get along with", when Hawk pronounced those words Emily and Bradley watched as Jake, who was sitting a few rows ahead of them, turned to look at them with his usual cocky smirk.
"The first ones to go will be Star and Storm with Hangman as their wingman", just as Hawk said that, Jake's head quickly turned back to the Commander with a shocked expression while Emily tried her best not to laugh out loud.
"Alright, dismissed. Go get ready", Hawk finished and they all stood up heading out of the room.
A while later, now in their flight gear they were walking to their planes. Logan and Emily were walking beside each other when they saw Jake a bit ahead of them. Emily walked a little faster to reach him. Once she was walking beside him she spoke up.
"I guess I am going out with you after all, Bagman", Emily told him with a smirk and before he could reply she surpassed him and walked to her plane.

"Gentleman, ladies, this is hop 22. Multiple aircrafts, multiple bogies. Your training is almost over. The competition for the Top Gun trophy remains tight. First place, Star and her WSO Storm. Second place, Rooster, just three points behind."
