"Oi'n kean je'li bau iama ua-ne lahb mah he'ua ahiena kebin ne Aropian abu kebas-fij ahe ja ieba poa Oi oane eh auen y ieoen aonua lauen hanie uan paeuion, au kahena Oi'lae ain Oy uise ia fuean abue." Malik announced causing murmurs to rise while more eyes settled on me and my family which didn't ease the tension in my body, but I sat straight doing my best to look unbothered.
"What is he saying?" I asked Zemerah because I was yet to familiarise myself with their language as they did mine.
"He said, I'm sure you're all aware of the fact that I've recently invited the Aropian royal family into our pack and I know a lot of questions have arisen from this decision, so tonight I'll try my best to answer them," Zemerah answered.
"Oi oane Oi Inauab leie peua yan noea aue ua ieai Oi ekan ja warriors ia euan Aropia poa uan ia jepe ne kems auan eia hajen, napan Oi uaa nuh ien...eni ank ah Aropia eia Oe."
I didn't have to say a word for Zemerah to speak.
"I know I instilled false hope in each of you when I sent our warriors to attack Aropia and promised to bring the leaders here for execution, but I had no clue what...who was in Aropia for me." Zemerah translated after taking a nonchalant sip of her white wine.
He glanced at me for a quick second and the mere sight of his soft eyes had my entire body relaxing with ease.
I would never understand the power he had over me.
I pushed down a frown when he transferred his focus onto his pack members so he could continue his speech.
"Ieai Oi uaa paeued ia vian ne kingdom Oeyan, Oi noe Oy soulmate, jeei ahen alpha, Keaue Zaelah." He finished.
"When I had decided to visit the kingdom myself, I met my soulmate, your future Alpha, Queen Zaelah." She immediately voiced.
This sentence made everyone react as they began speaking loudly, each expressing their own thoughts on the situation, and with what my human ears could gather there wasn't a single soul who was happy about this announcement because all I could hear was anger and disgust in many voices while everyone stared at me with the same emotions in their eyes.
"Je'li yaneo ia xuae abue mah gaioo heoapn ju's jeei mate?" Someone from the crowd asked loudly.
"You're going to forgive them that easily because she's your mate?" Zemerah translated.
"Oi pene ua ne Q'1 eni eus bihae-puean eia uan war eus mopai hanie xuaen," Malik answered calmly.
"I assure you the one who is responsible for this war is far from forgiven." She spoke after him and I glanced at Kai who kept a neutral expression
"Nen eny aonua ua paeijad Kai Zaba ahe ja home, eus oma heoapn jue peunaue oma?" Someone else asked, their voice booming throughout the room.
"Then why have you allowed Kai Zaba into our home, is it because she requested it?"
Malik shook his head at this question before he spoke.
"No, Oi peunaue hae icau." He informed them and this didn't seem to help the situation at all.
"No, I requested he come," Zemerah enunciated.
"Eny aheb ua paeija yne ia icau peme ieo bau ha's aina? Ieo ayhiena hae poe haeis kebas-fij aonua hurt?" Someone inquired with a mixture of anger and pain that ran deep in their bones.
