"I almost forgot to introduce you all, um Lois this is General Giana Walker and this is Nina, the head Alkebulan," I voiced and Lois glanced at Giana for a brief second before redirecting her gaze in front of her.

"Giana and I are already acquainted, but it's nice to meet you, Nina," Lois announced.

"Likewise," Nina replied softly as her eyes scanned the place with curiosity which told me it was her first time here since the rebuild.

"I heard you went to Drago with King Malik." Lois brought up which only had my mind transferring its focus from her to my mate as I could only imagine what he was doing at the moment and what he was thinking about, but before I could be sucked into an unbreakable trance I spoke.

"I did."

"And how was it?" She questioned me with undeniable curiosity.

"Well—" I began but Nina intervened.

"You'll have to read about it in the papers. Queen Zaelah has an interview with the Violeian journalist Enya Reed tomorrow, I'm sure her grace doesn't wish to spoil the story." Nina interjected and even though I was confused the look she offered me told me she'd explain later.

"I'm afraid Nina's right," I added to support her statement.

"Then I look forward to reading about how it went." Lois voiced and I gave her a slightly forced smile.

"I promise you'll be pleased," I told her and when those words left my mouth our journey came to a stop as we were now in front of the mayor's office.

"You both go ahead, we'll wait outside. I wish to discuss something with Nina," I instructed them and Lois didn't hesitate to listen, Giana, on the other hand, spared both of us a glance that only held interest about what our discussion would entail, nevertheless she followed Lois inside in search of the document that carried the information I would need for future decisions.

"What did you wish to speak to me about, Zaelah?" Nina inquired as if my reason for making her stay behind wasn't clear.

"You made plans for me to do an interview with Enya and somehow I find my mind blank when I try to search for the memory of me giving you permission to do such a thing," I confronted her while keeping my voice low so no passing ear could hear.

"My apologies, but the interview wasn't set and will not be—not without your approval of course. I told her that to prevent her from asking questions about Drago and Malik—questions I'm sure you wouldn't want to answer right now, at least not without proper preparation." She clarified, clearing up the lack of knowledge I had about the actions.

"Well, thank you." I expressed and I caught her giving me a nod in response as I turned on my heel to enter the building but she placed a hand on my arm to halt my steps.

"But since we are on the topic, an interview would not be a bad thing right now, especially an interview with a world-renown journalist like Enya."

My brows moved closer together as my interest grew, "What exactly are you suggesting, Nina?"

"This interview can give you the chance to control the narrative about the werewolves, whatever Malik did or said to convince you that they aren't the symbol of death, maybe you can say the same thing to convince your people," Nina explained and I found myself more taken by the idea because as she said it would be a great opportunity to change the light Aropians, well humans, in general, see werewolves in.

I grinned slightly at her confidence, "You speak as if it would be easy."

"Nothing comes easy in life, but this might be the first step to make a change—real change." Nina asserted and I nodded to show I agreed.
