"Are you sure?" Giana questioned them and they offered her a nod of certainty.

"Very sure." Nina told her and this had a question rising to my lips.

"Is it one of the Alkebulans in your coven?"

Nina shook her head in an instant.

"No, Malik would have sensed them immediately and I would feel their energy because a bit of the dark magic still resides in me."

"Will the dark magic affect you?" I inquired, showcasing my worry on my face.

"No, I already did a protection spell to ward it off, it will be gone in a few days." She notified me, demolishing my worries.

"Good, but how will we find the person who's trying to start an uprising in Aropia again?" I asked them and this only brought silence to the room before Malik decided to speak.

"I'm not very sure as yet, though I think Crescent and her wife will be able to figure it out." Malik announced and hearing 'Crescent's name had Nina tensing.

"Did you already tell her about the Alkebulans here?" Nina questioned him, earning a shake of the head that indicated a 'no'.

"No I've been busy, but I was actually planning to tell her at the ball." He admitted, truthfully.

"Let me tell her." She requested and his eyes narrowed suspiciously, showing he didn't trust her or her words.

"Why would you want to do that?" He asked.

"I think it's better she heard from me, she might just go easy on us." Nina clarified and I honestly didn't know if she was lying or telling the truth.

"Fine, will you also be joining us at the ball Giana?" Malik questioned the General and she gave him a nod.

"Someone needs to protect the queen." She remarked and I forced down a frown.

"Speaking of the ball, I should start getting ready," I stated because I had yet to pull out my plaits.

"I actually received a dress from Irisola for you, it's a gift from Crescent." He told me, pulling at my curiosity.

"Why would she give me a dress?" I inquired.

"I'm guessing it's a way to show there are no hard feelings between your kingdoms." He answered my question while stepping toward me.

"Where is it?"

"In my room at Drago." He confessed and this pulled a small frown from me because I wanted to see how it looked.

"What colour is it?" I asked, wanting my makeup to match this mysterious dress.

"I was told not to look until you wore it."

My brows came together in confusion at his response.

"Is there any way we can go to Drago now?" I inquired and he checked his watch before giving me a nod.

"Yes, Serena should be free right now." He informed me and my brows stayed in place at the unfamiliar name.

"Serena?"

"She's an Alkebulan. I'll get Zemerah to send her here, but instead of making her travel back a few hours later to get your family and friends, how about everyone just get ready in Drago?" He suggested and it honestly wasn't a bad idea.

"I don't see why not, are you guys okay with that?" I asked Nina and Giana.

"That's fine," Giana answered and Nina replied with a nod.
