Sokani is bundled up in her warm, cozy hoodie that is protecting her from the cold air outside. Scrolling away on a various of social media as she tries to contain her boredom. There isn't much to do while waiting to get a ride home, especially since she's by herself. She is just sitting on a random school bench, underneath an oak tree, beside the car pool lane. She can only wonder where her sister is.

It's pretty quiet outside even though it's a lot of people, leaving the school to go home. Everyone is just whispering among each other or in their own little world. Sokani figures it's because it's a dark, gloomy school afternoon. The sky is covered in thick, gray clouds, blocking out the sunlight. Threatening to release downpour at any second. She looks up at the clouds with a pout, hoping that the rain holds off until she gets home, before something else catches her attention.

And I been hustlin' all-day, this-a-way, that-a-way
Through canals and alleyways, just to say
Money trees is the perfect place for shade, and that's jus' how I feel

She drifts her attention towards the sound which is the song "Money trees" by Kendrick Lamar playing through someone headphones. Seeing Jakobi and Gali walking shoulder to shoulder, vibing to the music. They both look at her for a couple seconds before scrunching their face up in sync. They continue walking their footsteps mixing with their music, leaving Sokani feeling awful.

She sighs heavily while a frown forms on her face, watching as the two walk across the street to get to their cars. She wishes she can go back in time and change her past mistakes. She wishes she never went off on them, it's not their fault, after all. She had a feeling they wouldn't like her anymore and that just confirmed it.

"What was that about?" Sokani hears, causing her body to take a screen shot. Her heads snaps over towards the voice, her heart beating out of her chest, just to see her sister with her boyfriend. Sokani narrows her eyes and smacks her teeth.

"Don't do dat! You scared da shit outta me." Sokani groans while rolling her eyes. She readjusts herself to a more comfortable position on the school bench and continues to scroll away on her phone.

"Girl shut the fuck up. You'll be okay." Sariyah says before softly pushing Sokani head to the side with her long acrylic nails.

Sokani smacks her teeth again and folds her arms, dropping her phone into her lap. "Anywho you gon give me a ride Cairo?" She looks over at Sariyah boyfriend who is towering over her.
