4 months later. 📍karianah's house.

Karianah groggily wakes up to the loud ring of her phone, tangled in Jordan's arms, the warmth of his body keeping her cozy. As she fumbles to answer, her old manager's voice fills the line.

"Karianah, it's Richard. I need you and the girls at the studio ASAP."

Karianah, still half-asleep, is confused but nods as if he could see her. "What is this about?" she asks, rubbing her eyes.

"You'll find out when you get here. Trust me, it's big." her manager insists before hanging up.

Feeling a sense of urgency, Karianah carefully slips out of bed, trying not to wake Jordan. She heads to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face to fully wake up. Jordan stirs in the bed, feeling the absence of her warmth. He sits up, watching her move around the room.

"What's going on?" he asks, his voice husky with sleep.

Karianah, grabbing her toothbrush, explains, "I just got a call from my old manager. He wants me and the girls to meet him at the studio for something important."

Jordan stretches, yawning, and gets out of bed to join her. "Do you want me to drive you?" he offers, concern flickering in his eyes.

"I'll be fine. I have no idea what this is about, but it sounded urgent. You should rest," Karianah says, smiling softly as she finishes getting ready.

Jordan walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist. "Alright, but if you need me, just call."

Karianah turns in his arms, giving him a quick kiss before grabbing her things. "I will. See you later."

With that, she heads out the door, wondering what the meeting could be about and why now, after all this time.

As Karianah pulls up to the studio, her nerves start to settle when she spots Mariah and Ariel standing near the entrance, deep in conversation. The moment they see her, their faces light up, and they run towards her, engulfing her in a tight hug.

"What do think this about?" Mariah asks.

"I don't know but it seems suspicious," Ariel adds.

Before they can say much more, Summer walks in, her expression neutral but still showing a hint of warmth. She's not her usual bubbly self, but the girls can tell she's happy to see them in her own way.

"Hey," Summer says, giving them all a nod. The energy between them feels tense for a second, but Mariah breaks the ice by pulling her into the hug as well.
